AIG has been moving in a long-term uptrend since its recovery from the pandemic's economic shock back in 2020. The price has recently made a new higher high, which confirms that the uptrend is still very valid. The price has then retraced back to the long-term uptrend line. We could see that this uptrend line has been respected many times in the past and prices all have bounced up from this trendline to reach new highs. In addition, we can also clearly spot the prices forming double bottom patterns first before resuming bullish movement. Therefore, from the current price level, we are looking for a formation of a double bottom pattern first and then a breakout of the neckline. Our first target is the previous high of $65.
