I really learn to hate this shitcoin from all the wrongdoings from the miners at weekend. Yesterday they pump all day to mantein prices in an obvius manner, very sketchy graphs all over the marquets. Never see this level of manipulation and plain robbery at this scale in cryptomarkets. Be very carefull in all trades involving this crap.

@gonzavar, Apparently 90% of the attack came from Korea and not from the bitcash community. That aside, if you do a little research into the coin you'll see that transaction times and fee's are severely lower than bitcoin, thus its fuelling interest.

@elblinko, so is it Korean who control the price all this time?
elblinko
@irfan_hjw, look at the exchange origins during the spike ...Korean man

Technical analysis of the charts is one thing. But if you analyse BCH from a fundamentals perspective, in terms of what it is and what it does, you must realise it's a step backwards. As a solution to the bitcoin scaling problem, it fails by definition because it only provides a linear increase in transaction capacity alongside a linear increase in block size. That DOES NOT scale, which is why the Bitcoin Core team didn't implement a block size increase themselves. You only have to read reddit r/btc to get this information, and the implications. Now I'm not going to accuse supporters of it of anything, or spread the hate. But I do feel that traders need educate themselves on the fundamentals of the assets as well as the technicals before committing their funds.

@nerophon, I think @exavo goes deeper.. the dude is a warrior charter and super agile trader.. He'll read it on the charts before you see it in the news or in your btc subreddit.... or he'll stop loss and still make money lol.. on an emotional level which is where you want to take it.. bitcoin segwit is stepping back to centralisation whereas at least cash abides to the original whitepaper of bitcoin which is emotionally where this market has heart.. just saying.. spin doctor your opinion all you want and be a shill for the return centralisation of bitcoin if you want.. its up to you.. lol Good Luck Trading ! and above all enjoy !!
nerophon
@Benjamix, how do you claim that original bitcoin is a return to centralisation? Bitcoin Cash is the return to centralisation.

Increasing the block size leads to more centralisation because individuals can no longer run their own nodes because the chain is too large for their rigs. That's the main downside of bitcoin cash. Bitcoin, as advocated by Core, keeps the block size low so that individuals can still run nodes and keep the coin decentralised.

Add to that the fact the bitcoin cash's scaling solution (increasing block size) actually only provides linear scaling, and you've got the fundamentals understood. I'm happy to hear you out, but this is genuinely what I have gathered from my readings so far. If you have evidence to the contrary please may you present it?

Regarding @EXCAVO , I have nothing but respect his TA is top notch and I've seen his predictions of market turns hit right on the bullseye. What I was trying to get across was that investing in BCH/BCC long term is dangerous because of the fundamentals. As more people realise what BCH is, the air ought to come out of the market. I don't think it's unreasonable to factor-in fundamental analysis into trading decisions.
Benjamix
@nerophon, so how do you enter lightning and segwit into your "decentralised" btc core distopia I wonder?? cognitive dissonance perhaps...
Benjamix
But you could be right by all means, I am open to your ideas too, because, at the end of the day we will run with the collective idea of the herd. The most important thing is we have so many alternatives and new technologies spawned from the original.. Take Iota with the tangle and no fees or the new hashchain stuff that may inevitably become technology etherium and bitcoin adopt to improve scalability and decentralisation..

@nerophon, I concur. It a coin backed by China.
