Another example on 4hr BTCUSD chart. Maybe not the best case of the pattern, as it has appeared close to the resistance level.

@GulderBone, That's not true at all. Not even sure why you would even say something like that.
English is my native language and I understood every word perfectly clear and you should also
be a little appreciative to people that go out of there way to help others, otherwise the few
remaining good people in the world are going to stop to. The world is already going downhill
man, no need to help speed things up.

I haven't had the chance to sift through too much of AAlFadhala's stuff yet, but what I have so

Here's a similar case on the BTCUSDT daily chart (Bittrex), the today's candle is likely going to close above the high of the shooting star...But, the question is, is there any explanation for why does the market react like this? I mean, everyone had to excpect a reversal after the shooting star candle, yet the opposite happened...And thank you again...

@HarmonicPMaster, Yes that is correct, but keep in mind that this pattern works well if it was away from any resistance level. So why does this happen? The market is split into two - buyers and sellers. When the stronger hands control the market, they will always try to buy at the best prices possible. Eventually, the demand gets stronger, and this is where the reversal happens (reversal bar after the shooting star).

I just sold. All the big players I know who had accumulated massive amounts of btc at less than 100 are telling me they're going to dump it to 4k this month or next.
