Bearish still despite the high volume bullish reversal
Since Jan 7th BTC has had trouble breaking the 12 period EMA on the daily time frame. Despite the high volume bullish reversal, we are still below this line. Until we break this trend we will continue to be bearish. Look for the MACD cross on the daily as well and a consistent higher highs and higher lows on a multi-day streak for confirmation that this is a true bull trend.
There has been some bullish sentiment with the senate hearing regarding BTC, but be mindful of the possible bearish news regarding the tether subpoena after Tether parted ways with their auditor. Such bad news will certainly play out bearish in the BTC.
