2017 was great for bitcoin, personally, i had the opportunity to witness everything that happened around the environment throughout this year and it was amazing, couldn't be more thankful.
Even though we had a massive bull run this year, I feel the newcomers are here because of the price, not because they actually understand what they are buying, imho price is being driven by greed, people need to educate themselves if they actually want to see the technology grow.
Based on the chart, if the bull market continues, and the so called adoption which I believe is merely speculation at the moment continues, we could easily hit $150.000 + in the long term.
The bear case would look pretty much like 2013, and we could see a retrace down to $5000 mark, but I wouldn't mind and I'd just accumulate until the next bull run.
With that said, I hope you enjoy your profits and trade responsibly, don't trade based on greed or great expectations. Im not bullish nor bearish, I believe in bitcoin, I know it has value and i believe it will be huge, we just got to learn, contribute and let it grow, thats the only way the real adoption will happen.

Price finally corrected to the orange trendline, waiting for the weekly to close above it, that will determine if we are good to go.
