The U.S. Dollar Index is a geometrically-averaged calculation of six currencies weighted against the U.S. dollar
Which currencies are included in the U.S. Dollar Index?
The U.S. Dollar Index contains six component currencies: the euro -0.32% , Japanese yen -0.74% , British pound, Canadian dollar -0.49% , Swedish krona -0.33% and Swiss franc -0.43% .
i have a doubt, why is the EURUSD the only currency elevated with a negative number, and the value of 50.14348... represents what exactly? great posts by the way

@IsmaelSant, usually if $ index is going down, major pairs like eurusd and gbpusd are going as $ is considered to weaken... in my opinion
