Background QASH is a currency/utility token for the parent company Quoine which owns and operates the Japanese-regulated FIAT cryptocurrency exchange Quoinex & Qryptos, and like Coinbase/GDax, seeks to bring liquidity to closed-loop crypto ecosystems. This is the problem Quoine is solving. Ultimately, QUOINE LIQUID is building a financial utility - a platform that the entire crypto economy will benefit from and where people can participate in as both users and token holders.
Quoine is clearly targeting institutional money with deeper pockets more so than Coinbase and Binance (both of which have liquidity issues when dealing with mega million traders) and I think a huge leap in the right direction and in the right environment with Japan being so open minded in accepting crypto currency trading and investing where over 75% of Japanese Forex brokers now dealing with cryptos to a certain extent.
