@retiringsoon1, should be okay in the long run, but you can optimize your trading strategy if you buy near the trend line, not only can you then see if the trend line gets confirmed another time, but also take profit from the upwards boost from the bottom of the trend line back to a higher level (bounce) recent example where this happend:
