As I already posted some weeks ago, I don't think XRPBTC will be a market for me until much later in the year. Like 2017 I think it will spend much of the time going down, of course down but NOT OUT. Ripple has a massive following with committed hodlers and it's one of the largest coins out there. Don't let it out of your sight! If you like to scalp trade there will be mini bounces all the way down, particularly at the fib levels (I think 0.618 will be big).
Right now we are approaching the 50 day moving average (MA). I think we'll break down under this like we did last time. These drops of interest in XLM, XRP etc correspond with a rising interest in BTC. This is no accident. Crypto is "seasonal". Money will start moving from these alts into BTC. That doesn't mean we're going parabolic or anything. We're in a period of consolidation with a probable continued correction.
I like to trade for BTC so I will be watching and waiting for XRP to hit its bottom later in 2018. Of course, those interested in the dollar market will see XRP work its magic again this year too!
