VWAP A BE BOP — Every Anchor You'll Ever Need, One Indicator

VWAP A BE BOP consolidates the anchored VWAP toolkit that traders normally piece together from three or four separate scripts into a single, clean overlay. Instead of hunting for daily VWAP here, a weekly anchor there, and a rolling previous-day reference somewhere else, every timeframe you actually trade around lives in one place — fully customizable, fully synced.

Five calendar-anchored VWAPs — Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly — give you the institutional reference levels that price consistently reacts to, each with its own toggle and color so you can build exactly the confluence stack your strategy calls for. Layer a fast Daily VWAP against a slower Monthly or Quarterly anchor to instantly see whether you're trading with or against the higher-timeframe flow.

Daily and Previous Day deviation bands bring statistical context to the mix. Three independently adjustable standard-deviation multipliers (defaulting to 1, 2, and 2.5) mark the zones where price has statistically stretched from fair value — classic mean-reversion and breakout-confirmation territory, without cluttering your chart with bands on every single line.

A true Previous Day VWAP, anchored precisely at session open with zero configuration required, plus optional rolling lines going back a full week — perfect for spotting how current price stacks up against where the market was trading 2, 3, or even 7 sessions ago.

Fully adjustable labels turn a wall of colored lines into an instantly readable chart. Rename any line to whatever shorthand you like — "pDay," "M," "Q" — and control label size and horizontal offset so the tags sit exactly where you want them, whether you're on a widescreen monitor or a cramped mobile chart.

Built for traders who live and die by mean reversion, fair value, and institutional order flow, VWAP A BE BOP strips away the noise of over-engineered multi-panel scripts and gives you a single, elegant, endlessly configurable VWAP suite — the last VWAP indicator you'll need to add to your chart.

VWAP A BE BOP — Update

Big update to VWAP A BE BOP — same core idea, a much sharper toolkit.

The star of the show: color-matched, fully adjustable labels. Every VWAP line now gets its own floating label rendered in the same color as the line itself, so at a glance you know exactly which level you're looking at — teal for Daily, purple for Monthly, gold for Yearly, red for ATH/ATL — no squinting at legend colors. Each label's background opacity is fully adjustable: dial it down for a subtle tinted badge, or crank it to 100% for text-only mode, where just the clean colored text floats next to the line. Overlapping levels stay readable, and labels hug the chart instead of cluttering it. Small, custom text, offset in bars, adjustable size — you decide how loud or quiet the chart is.

More VWAPs, more context. Alongside Daily (with three adjustable deviation bands), Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly, the update adds Previous Day, Previous Week/Month/Year, Previous Quarter VWAPs, and Custom Anchored VWAPs — perfect for marking ATH, ATL, or any event you care about with its own anchor date. Calendar periods can be shown historically or restricted to the most recent reset. All colors live neatly in the Style tab, so you can carry line style + thickness in the same swatch.

Smooth daily EMAs. The 50 and 200 daily EMAs are now computed locally with the length scaled to your timeframe — a perfectly smooth, continuous curve running right up to the current bar, with no gaps or stair-stepping between intraday bars.

Under the hood. Rewritten around a modern 19-slot label system with renumbering and continuity baked in, cleaner plot architecture, and tighter defaults throughout — plus deviation band opacity that respects your color choices.

Toggle what you need, ignore the rest. Happy bopping. 🎵

Added a boop to the bop (VWAP A BE BOP AND A BOOP)

Added 7D / 30D Rolling VWAP — true sliding-window average (not anchored/reset), computed via math.sum() over a bar count approximated from timeframe.in_seconds(), capped at 5000 bars to stay within Pine's hard length limit. On 24/7 crypto markets like BTCUSDT this is functionally identical to the official time-based library approach.

Added 50W / 200W EMA

More label options. Show price on label gives you the option to declutter the price scale and still see the price. Show percentage from price on label

TradingView "Update Script" release notes
What's New

Added Previous Day/Week/Month High & Low levels, shown as clean price-scale labels (no chart clutter) with dotted connector lines matching the VWAP label style.
Added a second fully adjustable Rolling VWAP — you can now set any lookback period in days for both rolling VWAPs (defaults: 30D and 365D).
Added a "Hide Line" option on every EMA (50d, 200d, 50w, 200w) — shows the live price on the scale without drawing the line on the chart, for a cleaner layout. All EMAs are now on by default with lines hidden out of the box.
Added independent "Show Bands (Preset)" master switches for Daily and Previous Day deviation bands — pre-configure which deviations you want, then flip one switch to reveal them all at once.
Added per-group "Deviation Labels on Price Scale" toggle so band values don't have to clutter the price scale.
Added a "Show % From Price" and "Show Price" label option, plus a global "Show Dotted Connector Lines" toggle.
Fixed the % From Price calculation, which had an inverted sign.
Removed Q3/Q4 and Previous Year/Quarter VWAPs to make room for the new features within Pine's plot limits — these were the least-used options.

Bug Fixes

Daily/Weekly EMAs now use a more accurate live calculation method that stays correct across all chart timeframes with no repainting artifacts.

VWAP A BE BOP — Major Update: Wick-Anchored Levels & Smart Label Tiering

This is the biggest cleanup this script has had. Two systems changed at the core: how Previous Period High/Low levels are drawn, and how every label on the chart finds its place.

Previous Day, Week, and Month High/Low are now true wick-anchored rays. These used to be flat reference lines. Now each one tracks the actual high or low as it forms, bar by bar, and locks in the moment the period rolls over, so the ray starts from the literal candle where that wick printed, not just an arbitrary point on the chart. Watch a PDH ray and you're looking at exactly where price made that high. Each pair (Day, Week, Month) gets its own line style, Solid, Dashed, or Dotted, genuinely wired into the Inputs tab, since previous versions of this toggle lived in the Style tab and didn't actually touch these lines (TradingView's native Style controls can't reach a manually-drawn ray). Each pair can also drop its line entirely and keep just the label, for a cleaner read.

Every level now decides its own label placement, Tier 1 or Tier 2. This is the real upgrade. Instead of a single fixed offset pushing every label to the same spot, or a right-anchor mode that locks everything to the edge of the chart, every single VWAP, EMA, and High/Low pair gets two independent choices: Hide Line (Show Price Only), which keeps the level active in the calculation and on the price scale without the line cluttering the chart, and Label Tier, where Tier 1 keeps a label close to price and Tier 2 tucks it further out, typically behind the price scale. The two tiers are spaced by four fully adjustable settings, covering the gap between current price and where the connector line starts, the connector's length, the extra gap before Tier 2 begins, and Tier 2's own connector length, all fine-tunable to the bar.

The result is that the levels you're actively watching stay close and legible, while everything else, higher-timeframe VWAPs, weekly EMAs, less-frequently-referenced anchors, sits quietly out of the way. Drag the chart left for a couple of seconds and the full picture is right there. Nothing is ever truly gone, it's just not fighting for your attention until you want it.

Out of the box, PDH and PDL are visible on Tier 1, the level checked every session. PWH, PWL, PMH, and PML are label only on Tier 2, present as context without adding clutter. Daily EMAs show their line on Tier 1, while Weekly EMAs are label only on Tier 2. Every one of these is a per-level toggle, so these defaults are just a starting point, and any single line can be reconfigured without touching the rest.

The same VWAP engine sits underneath all of this, with session-aware anchor resets, the historical toggle, deviation bands, and custom anchors unchanged. This update is entirely about how the chart reads, not how it calculates.

Update: Price Scale Cleanup & Auto-Tiering on Overlap

Labels now split cleanly by tier on the price scale. Tier 2 levels, your secondary VWAPs, previous-period lines, anything you've pushed back, now get their prices tucked away behind the price scale instead of crowding it alongside your primary levels. Only Tier 1 prints on the scale by default, so the scale itself stays readable no matter how many levels you've got switched on, and everything in Tier 2 is still there the moment you want to check it, just out of the way until then.

The bigger addition is automatic tiering when VWAP lines overlap. Whenever two VWAP lines land within a set percentage of each other, which happens constantly right at a period boundary, the longer-timeframe line's label now shifts itself to Tier 2 on its own, so the two don't stack directly on top of each other. Watch Monthly VWAP converge with Daily VWAP at the start of a new month and the label slides back and out of the way automatically, then slides back to Tier 1 the moment the two values pull apart again. The line itself never disappears or changes, only the label moves, since the moment two VWAPs actually converge is itself meaningful information worth keeping visible. This runs across every VWAP pairing that can realistically collide, Weekly against Daily, Monthly against Weekly and Daily, Q2 against all three, Yearly against everything below it, and the same cascade for Previous Week, Previous Month, and the 2-Days-Ago VWAP. It mirrors the overlap system already built for the Previous Period High/Low rays, with one difference: those fully hide an overlapping line since it's a literal duplicate, while VWAP lines always keep plotting, since here the label is the only thing in the way.
