for MACD: when we have an uptrend ( the price is above the EMA 200) & the macd line cross up the signal line while they are both under the 0 level of histogram it generates buy signals. when we have a downtrend ( the price is below the EMA 200) & the macd line cross below the signal line while they are both above the 0 level of histogram it generates sell signals.
donchian channel works as a confirmation for the macd signal.
