Im using standard deviation in bank nifty it works well but i have one doubt if SD is above 100 we can consider its bullish trend nd below 100 its bearish trend this is right or not? if not pls correct me

Can you confirm that the example you have shown uses a sample size of 20? Are these the last close, open, high or low values?

@kribby, the sample size is 20 by default, but you can customize it in the configurations of the script. Just hover the plotted STDEV graph name and click the settings button. You can change the 'Lenght' variable there.

@kribby, also, you can customize which value is used for calculations. You can change the 'Source' variable in the STDEV settings. By default it uses the 'close' values.
It's called 'projection'. It's together with the "long position", "short position" submenu.

@TD06, sorry maybe my explanation wasn't clear enough. When you open any chart it Trading View, there is a bar to the left with many buttons. One of them contains the 'long/short position' and also the 'projection' tool.
