SHIT35 is an index of 35 Binance alt/BTC pairs. It provides traders with a more reliable read of BTC pairs price movement than the often uncorrelated USD market cap standard.
Because it must read data coming from 35 markets, SHIT35 is painfully slow and should be kept hidden most of the time. Its features will hopefully seduce traders in using it nonetheless for...
Updated for TV-Pine V4
This is the MACD of a stochastic OBV movement indicator and now the MACD of the Squeeze Momentum Indicator. It is good (right) to work with both price and volume...it is also good to utilize the most popular indicator ever in TV (Lazybear).
I've included highlighting based on price divergence, yellow is divergence of either OBV or SQZ, red...
Enhanced On Balance Volume
"On-balance volume (OBV) is a momentum indicator that uses volume flow to predict changes in stock price.
Joseph Granville first developed the OBV metric in the 1960s.
He believed that when volume increases sharply without a significant change in the stock's price, the price will eventually jump upward, and vice versa."
This is a smoothed version of the classic On-Balance Volume indicator. And I added a signal line with alerts that the user can set through TradingViews alert panel to indicate long or short play. I also find that this indicator is good to do divergences analysis on the asset you want to trade.
This ones useful for spotting divergence on OBV, and also includes CCI to show overbought and oversold areas in the volume. I've coloured the OBV bar with the CCI levels. Look for divergence (best results on 5min chart I believe) with this and you can spot where to sell if a second peak is not supported by volume, also shows where the big guns are dumping lots of...
First, look at the chart, then read.
Use OBV/Price to see a price adjusted by 'On Balance Volume' - (OBV), a momentum indicator that measures positive and negative volume flow, was developed by Joseph Granville and introduced in 1963.
The indicator, together with trend lines, provides good entry/ exit points.
In the chart note the exit point before the...
This is the second part of TFS trading strategy. The concept of this
indicator is similar to that of On-Balance Volume indicator (OBV). It
is calculated according to these rules:
If Close > Open, Volume is positive
If Close < Open, Volume is negative
If Close = Open, Volume is neutral
Then you take the 7-day MA of the results.
OBV Oscillator in %
This indicator computes the regular OBV using the standard formula and then creates an oscillator out of it.
Differences with other OBV oscillators:
- Computed value is relative to 100; it’s a percentage (no more huge numbers on the right scale),
- Adds a reference line at 0,
- Oscillators are computed by comparing the current situation (short...
Created an oscillator from OBV - On Balance Volume. This way I think it is more responsive.
I just took OBV over a period and divided it by the total volume for the same period. So now it's an oscillator from -1 to 1.
You can also add EMA to this script.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
The oscillator version of the well known On Balance Volume Indicator (OBV).
Plain old OBV can be used to confirm trends, as well as spot possible trading signals due to divergences.
A benefit of the oscillator version is that it can produce LONG or SHORT signals on zero line cross.
Buy Order: Previous obv value is green and obv_cci coded line crosses over ema line
Sell Order: Previous obv value is red and obv_cci coded line crosses under ema line.
Preferable for day/week intervals.
For Tips to continue :) -
Money Flow Index (MFI) is the technical indicator, which indicates the rate at which money is invested into a security and then withdrawn from it.
Construction and interpretation of the indicator is similar to Relative Strength Index with the only difference that volume is important to MFI.
When analyzing the money flow index one needs to take into...
