The 00 bearmarket resulted in circa 45% down over a couple of years

The GFC crash was from the same level but was swifter, with more than a 55% drop over less than 2 years

It took 13 years to make a new high

The 2000 drop was preceded by an extended period of bearish divergence and a broken major trendline; with a few months of sideways and an ascending triangle

The 2007 drop was more sudden and deceptive; and probably was traded as a pullback by most

this monthly candle seems pretty important...

i'd say on the basis of the monthly pa it would want to test at least the top of the shooting star from November

Monthly candle wick from Nov is the target from this monthly idea

But the PA could portend something spectacular as above
