I don't have much time tonight because I work again tomorrow so I'll get right to it. Today basically went EXACTLY as I said it would. Don't take this to heart though I'm not always this accurate and won't always be right.
Also, people have asked where I start my count, where I start individual waves, where I draw my fibs, etc. etc. All I'm going to say about this is anytime I put a count to the chart I start at the very beginning. As in the day the company went public. If you don't start all the way at the beginning, AKA knowing where you've been, how are you supposed to know where you are going. EWT isn't something easy you just throw on a chart. It is something that takes time and effort and honestly if you don't want to put in the leg work then this theory/strategy isn't for you. As you can see from my posts, it can be scary accurate when you're on the money...pun intended. This also is the best way to learn EWT. When I started, I spent hours upon hours trying to apply a count to various charts. Then I would watch those charts to see if I was right or not. Over time I have become much more familiar with EWT and very intimate with the Tesla chart. It's just as anything else you do, put in the effort and watch what you planted grow!
I used the smallest timeframe TV will allow me to use which is the 15min graph. Per the usual there is a primary and ALT count on there. The primary suggests we have OMH to hit yet before we start to drop. Looking at the NASDAQ it might need just that, with possibly even 2 more highs due to what I see on the MACD. We have neg div forming on the 15min chart which means this move up is coming to an end. As far as how much higher for OMH, IDK. If I was a betting man, and I'm not, I would say around $263-$266.
The ALT, which is in turquoise, suggests we have already topped and are about to head down in our wave 3. This is very possible given the MACD on the 3min timeframe. The structure looks as if it can be called complete too. Despite all this I still believe we have OMH to make before dropping.
My plan for tomorrow:
Once/if OMH is made I will most likely buy a minimum of 5 puts. When MACD looks like it is about cooked I will buy 5-10 more. This ALL depends on structure and if it happens during normal trading hours or pre-market. If it starts to drop before market opens, AND structure looks right, I will enter a smaller position on the way down. But I will not chase this, if the train leaves the station before markets open then I will wait for a retrace to enter. Don't go getting FOMO on me and wait for the right time. I will post on here any trades I make as always.
