We should be looking at the IMMEDiATE Group of time frames (shown below) to see WHEN we get a chance for expansion in the 30-minute time frame. We see several time frames in the IMMEDIATE Group of time frames that are already tight or relatively tight. Look at the indicators in those time frames in particular to see which direction the price action could go (up or down) when we see that expansion.
Also be aware of the potential for a TRAP. Meaning, it could start out with price action going down with expansion then all of a sudden shoot up (Bear Trap). Or visa-versa for a Bull Trap.

New 30-minute and 1-hour candle. Look at the Red RSI and BLUE LSMA; as pointed out in the video. Look at lower time frames in the IMMEDIATE Group of time frames to see if we have expansion currently. Which could create expansion soon in this 30-minute and potentially (eventually) the 1-hour.
