BTC rallies. Movement doesn't translate to other 'major' cryptos

This is really interesting, so I wanted to throw it out there… BTC rallied last night and almost came up to 13k, yet the other ‘major’ cryptos stayed pretty quiet… Relative to recent price action, this is very strange as we have often seen them all rally together.

This could be a good sign for us as it is showing us that LTC and ETH may not be so vulnerable to fluctuations in the price of BTC. That is to say, if the BTC bubble pops and begins turning south, LTC and ETH may stand alone and possible even rally if/when capital moves out of BTC and into the ‘younger’ cryptos which have yet to see their parabolic moves…

Check out the disparity in their action so far today. (I put an indicator called ATR or Average True Range on the chart which measures price range within a given amount of time.) BTC has shot up, yet the price range is not translating to the other cryptos. Hope this is helpful and interesting to you guys as well

Same story today. BTC is WAY up, yet the move is not translating to the other cryptos. Could an inverse relationship be forming? As an LTC and XRP buyer, I want this inverse relationship to form.

We want to see capital leave BTC and flow into the other cryptos, thus boosting their price.

So far, so good. It appears that BTC might be cashing out in preparation for futures trading next week and week following. BTCUSD down, yet LTCUSD and ETHUSD are all up with LTC leading the charge.

Could this be capital switching hands? Cryptos bulls looking for a return in the smaller crypto markets? There is good reason to believe so...
