Bitcoin is nearing heavy resistance, if it can even make it there... If we held above the green circle we'd be in a bull market. Until then that is extremely heavy resistance and without news (catalyst) or the shorts stacking up (for a short squeeze) it's going to be really hard to break or even approach. I can't really count on whale manipulation with the shorts currently dropping. A big move should be coming. You can gamble the direction or wait for the first pull back after the big candle.

Disclaimer: I can only see the shorts chart for bitfinix on tradingview and bitmex obviously carries all the volume. If bitmex shorts are high right now I'd feel more short term bullish. I do not know though.
