As you can see, Bitcoin just broke above the 7905 area. This is not only a follow-up of the previous move which indicated a breakout from the bearish wedge, but also a consolidative pattern which formed around the 8000 range.
Consolidation above the 8000 range is basically just a confirmation for a break-out above the bearish trend. (I am still awaiting for a follow-up in order to be 100% sure.)
I am expecting Bitcoin to move upwards, towards the middle of the old accumulation channel where it is sitting since around December. Expecting it to encounter a resistance around the 9150-9200 mark.
