2018 should be the year of decentralization. Cryptocurrency isn't in its infancy, but the blockchain is. 2018 is the year where you expect some more advanced used cases of P2P technology. This, among other reasons should be why newbies shouldn't worry and HODL BTC. It is another dip as we saw just recently in late 2017. Also January 24th and beyond is Wall Street bonuses. The breakout potential of that plus another wave is imminent this year. The dominance for $BTC also went slightly up a few percentage points and it still dominates overall in market capitalization.
