Short/Puts on CCL

Industry that has struggled to recover since the pandemic, and has continued to extend those struggles afterwards to post tremendous loses.

They sell an inelastic good, in an industry that can be severely affected by oil and gas prices. I believe they will continue to post poor earning, and look at any bullishness in the stock, as a sign to build a bigger short position for a discount.

Trimmed some of my CCL puts today.

I am expecting a potential bounce, will look for another entry point.

To clarify, a lot of my positions are 3 to 4 months out on CCL. Short term, CCL can be pretty unpredictable, but we know long term, CCL is set to probably trade below $4.00

If you're playing earnings be careful not to play your options too short, make sure their expirations are a week or two past the earnings. We've seen in the past how this stock will rise even on terrible earnings the day of, and then reverse the following day.
