The lowest price floor for the 'Euro' since 2002
HEY traders, what's going on today?!
Today we are witnessing of The fall of the euro to the lowest price floor:
For the first time since 2002, the euro reached its lowest price floor. It is believed that the fear of Europe entering into recession ,and the loss of investors' confidence due to geopolitical issues such as the Ukraine war and the shutdown of the Nord Stream-1 pipeline caused the recent fall of the euro against the US dollar.
Anyway , The catastrophes and the sharp fall of the markets proved that the dollar was still a safe haven for everyone.
The dollar index is trading at its highest above 108 ,that had seen almost two decades ago .
On Monday ; The Federal Reserve Bank of New York's monthly survey of consumer expectations showed that one-year inflation expectations of US consumers increased from 6.6% in May to 6.8% in June.
