With over 10 years experience trading the forex markets, i came to the conclusion that i only needed to trade ONE pair. I mean focus all my attention in analyzing effectively and efficiently ONE pair.
The opposing argument would be what about the need for diversification and risk management?
Well my answer is that i am well diversified enough trading one pair as i can take multiple positions on one pair i.e SHORT TERM, SHORT-MEDIUM TERM, MEDIUM TERM and sometimes LONG TERM positions. These positions span from about 2 weeks to about 3 months positions.
And so i trade only the GBPUSD with my strategy and in reality my strategy can trade very accurately any of the major pairs but i just love the volatility of the GBPUSD.
