Momentum Stock: Navient has been super smooth

Navient has been having a great run over the last 12 months and is up a bit over 170%.

Moving averages all moving nicely in parallel, and it doesn't seem to be too affected by volatility in the overall market.

Just a nice steady runner so far.

How To: Risk Management - A Trailing Stop Loss of 11% would have kept you in most of this trade. If it broke below that it could have been a good sign to exit and look for a new entry when the trend resumed.

Good pullback to value and a bounce off the 50 Day MA.

Navi crushed in yesterdays trade after announcing they are effectively exiting the student loans business. Ouch. My stop got me out without too much damage, but pity as it was such a steady runner for so long. Beware the bend in the end :)
