has terminated a contract to deliver 2,500 electric-battery trucks to Arizona-based Republic Services Inc, (Wikipedia) which "is the second largest provider of non-hazardous solid waste collection, transfer, disposal, recycling, and energy services in the United States, as measured by revenue." This was an agreement made in August 2020.
The upside is, NIkola can better focus on production of both its battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell semi-trucks. But will it happen?
