Looks like PFE it's going to break up

From the technical point of view, if PFE breaks the resistance level noted in this chart it can go easily over 40$ USD after earnings.
There's no reason to short Pfizer right now. The company got massive amount of money from vaccine pre-orders, investments and probably the earnings will be at last at estimated level.

Seems to me that the yesterday drop is unnatural, and might be linked to the unprecedent short squeeze we see in the market right now, as the hedge funds needs to stop their losses.
However, there's aren't bad or unexpected news about PFE, so it's still a hold.
As you see, it doesn't yet brake the support line or the channel, it's still safe to expect positive results.

Even if the Q4 2020 EPS is 0.42, bellow 0.48 average estimate, Pfizer except 15$ billion revenue from vaccine in 2021, bigger than estimated 12.7$b.

Overall, the news are positive about the future. Don't forget PFE and MRNA are still the only two companies with COVID-19 vaccine proved efficiency of over 95%.

These two vaccines are the most popular and will generate revenue for these two companies for years from now. It will probably be as the flu vaccine for at last few years from now.

I've closed my position at 40.6 USD on 5 May.
I think PFE would go higher but the patent waivers for the COVID-19 vaccine will make this even longer term than it is now.
However, if you still want to bet on COVID-19 vaccine, PFE it's a fair pick. They still got the distribution and production centers, people, which is a hard iron in this industry.
