Trader makes a $500,000 Bet on YPF to the LONG Side

YPF SOCIEDAD ANONIMA, an energy company, engages in the exploration, development, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Argentina. I have traded this stock before in the past, but I currently do not have a long position. Today we saw a trader buy 2,000 on the Jan 2015 30-40 Bull Call Spread for $2.85 per 1 lot or a cash outlay of over $500,000. A trader sees that YPF is breaking the Ichimoku Cloud on the daily chart and thinks it can move higher. This trader would not buy Call Spreads, but Calls outright if they thought the stock was going to move Parabolic higher. This is a bullish stance and a trader will make almost 300% returns if YPF closes above $40 on Jan 2015 expiration.
