34% down.... absurd and madness. Will oil ever recover? It is a finite natural resource so I am pretty sure it will but might take decades to reach the new high. Sitting on some xom puts but seriously didn't expect this thing to tank this crazy. I was going for a surf when one of my friends texted me about the oil, but man... this thing is really eyes popping! Also read some news for fun, G.S says we could drop to $20, totally insane.
I am still scratching my head though. According to a theory I believe in, US equities shall gain in value, so is this the loading time for next decade of bull run? Or it's that anyone who loads right now are fcked. Personally, I didn't believe a shit about the last years rally, lost some good chunk of my capital shorting some nonsense stocks. I was also at a brink of questioning my freakin knowledge, and getting demoralized but karma man, karma what goes around, comes back around. Losses just gave me confidence boost if anything, we all live, learn, and evolve. I don't know any traders or business people who never had a major set back in their life. I think I had one of those last year, don't know how many I will have to face later in life. World is a shitshow but the life is all about experiences, everything is good.
