The XAUUSD is running in the upper direction towards my given Resistance Zone. This current position of the XAUUSD after opening of the forex market is $2027 with +0.43% increment in bullish side as the price of the asset opened around $2018.

Technically speaking, the swing low from last week, which was in the $2,015 region, is probably going to stop the immediate fall before it reaches the psychological $2,000 barrier. A strong break below the latter will be viewed as a new catalyst for bearish traders and open the door for more losses, since oscillators on the daily chart have once again begun to veer negative. After that, the price of gold may decline more quickly towards the 100-day Simple Moving Average (SMA), which is presently in the $1,988 range, before falling to the crucial 200-day SMA, which is located in the $1,966–1,965 range.

Conversely, the 50-day SMA, which is located around $2,033, may serve as a temporary barrier in front of the swing high from last week, which is located in the $2,044–2,045 range. The monthly peak, or $2,065 region, comes next. If this is cleared firmly, it will eliminate the short-term negative outlook. The price of gold may then continue to rise in the direction of retesting the YTD peak, which was reached in January between $2,078 and $2,079, at that point. The XAU/USD could rise to $2,100 on the next upswing, which would take it closer to the $2,120 area, the next significant obstacle.
