The court has set a deadline for claims in the Equinix settlement. Investors have until December 24, 2025 to submit their claims and receive payment.

What is this settlement?

On March 20, 2024, Hindenburg Research released a report alleging that Equinix overstated its Adjusted Funds From Operations (AFFO) by at least 22% in 2023. The report also highlighted misleading AI-related claims, poor performance in its core business, and internal control weaknesses.

Following the report, EQIX dropped 2.3%, erasing over $1.86 billion in shareholder value. Shareholders filed suit shortly after, and Equinix has agreed to settle the case.
