The Coinbase Premium Index is a measure of the percentage difference between the price of any coin on Coinbase Pro (USD pair) and the price on Binance (USDT trading pair). It helps differentiate between global and US-specific market sentiment

Choose between USD or USDC for the Coinbase pair — they can behave differently in rare but actionable situations.
