This script checks that faith against the actual chart in front of you: every band touch is graded, every break beyond a band is graded, and the results accumulate into a running, honest record. ✨ WHY THIS MATTERS VWAP tells you the volume-weighted average price — where the "center of gravity" of trading has actually been. The bands around it are meant to show how far price typically wanders from that center before snapping back. But "typically" varies enormously by instrument, session, and market condition, and no plain VWAP tool tells you what's actually been happening on your chart. Session is the classic intraday default; Week and Month extend the same logic to longer views. Custom Bar anchors once, permanently, to a specific historical point you choose — useful for anchoring to an earnings date, a gap, or any event you want to measure from, rather than the calendar. 📏 Two-tier statistical bands — Band 1 and Band 2 are both standard-deviation multiples of VWAP, computed from a proper running variance (not an ATR approximation). If breaks above Band 1 have reverted back 65% of the time on this chart, that's useful context before assuming a fresh breakout will keep running. 3️⃣ Read Price vs VWAP as the simplest possible bias check. Above VWAP means the average buyer today is in profit; below means the average buyer is underwater. It's a blunt but genuinely useful read on crowd positioning. 4️⃣ Let sample sizes build before trusting the percentages. Every stat shows its N= specifically so you can judge reliability yourself — a handful of touches is not yet a pattern. 5️⃣ Match the anchor mode to what you're actually measuring. Session for pure intraday structure, Week or Month for a longer view, Custom Bar when you want to measure from one specific moment forward. ⏱️ WHICH TIMEFRAMES WORK BEST Session-anchored VWAP is fundamentally an intraday tool — it was built for, and is most meaningful on, timeframes where a full session contains enough bars to form a real distribution: 1-minute through 1-hour is the classic and most effective range, which is exactly where VWAP sees the heaviest institutional and day-trading use. On daily or weekly charts, a Session anchor resets so frequently relative to the bar size that it stops being meaningful — you'd see very few bars per session. For higher-timeframe or swing-style use, switch the anchor to Week, Month, or Custom Bar instead, so the accumulation window actually spans enough bars to produce a meaningful VWAP and band structure. MTF VWAP + POC Fan ### What it does Seven fixed-lookback windows on one anchor timeframe. Each window draws a VWAP curve — where the average participant's cost sits over that span — and can optionally draw a POC, the single price bin inside that same window that traded the most volume. Same window, two different questions: - **VWAP** — what the average participant paid - **POC** — where participation actually concentrated A dashboard reads the seven VWAP endpoints and scores the structure they form. Default ladder is a daily one: **21 / 63 / 126 / 189 / 252 / 378 / 756** bars — roughly one month through three years. The anchor timeframe is configurable, so the same ladder on Weekly becomes five months through fourteen years. ### Why fixed lookbacks instead of swing anchors Anchoring a VWAP at a swing high or low answers a real question — "what has been paid since that event" — but those anchors collapse into each other as windows grow. If price has not exceeded its three-month high, then the six-month, twelve-month and three-year highs are all the same bar, and several rungs draw one curve. Fixed-lookback anchors cannot collide. The bar 252 back and the bar 378 back are always different bars, so seven rungs always mean seven distinct windows. That property is what makes a seven-horizon fan worth drawing at all. ### Reading the curve correctly This is the part most multi-window VWAP scripts leave ambiguous, so it is worth being explicit. At its **right edge**, VW252 equals the VWAP of the last 252 anchor-TF bars. That endpoint is the number. The **tail behind it is not a rolling 252-bar series.** Every point on the drawn curve is the accumulation from the origin that is 252 bars back *today*, so the midpoint of the line is roughly a 126-bar average. The curve does not show what VW252 read on those past dates — on any past date it was anchored 252 bars before *that* date, at a different origin entirely. The tail is one accumulation path from today's origin. Read historical crossings with that in mind. ### How the VWAP is calculated Standard volume-weighted mean of the source (default HLC3) from the window's origin bar to its end bar, accumulated over **chart** bars. Origins are located on the anchor timeframe, then resolved to the exact chart bar by binary search. When volume is missing or zero the engine substitutes 1.0, and tracks the substitution rate **per window**. Two different failures hide under one symptom: - Missing on nearly every bar (synthetic symbols, some indices) — every bar weighs the same, so the curve is an *unweighted* mean of the source. Usable if you know that is what you are reading. - Missing on a handful of bars in a real feed — a bar weighing 1.0 against neighbours weighing millions is not averaged in, it is effectively *dropped*. Still a proper volume-weighted mean, over a slightly smaller sample. Curves whose own window exceeds the warning rate are suffixed with `*` and counted on the dashboard. ### How the POC is calculated The window's high-low range is divided into bins, and each bar's volume is allocated **in proportion to how much of that bar's range overlaps each bin.** The obvious shortcut — splitting a bar's volume equally across every bin it touches — is wrong at the edges: a bar with 2% of its range in one bin and 98% in the next would contribute 50/50. Since the POC is an argmax rather than an average, that error does not wash out. It can hand the win to the wrong bin. Fully covered interior bins are accumulated with a difference array (one increment at the low edge, one decrement at the high edge, resolved in a single prefix sum) rather than a per-bin loop, which keeps the cost at O(bars + bins). Three deliberate constraints: **Resolution is capped at one bin per tick.** The bin-count input is a *maximum* resolution, not permission to invent sub-tick precision. If a window's whole range spans forty ticks, a hundred bins would put several bins inside one tick and the argmax would be choosing between prices that cannot trade. The reported level is also snapped to the instrument's tick grid, because an unrounded one-tick bin from 10.00 to 10.01 reports 10.005. **Bin width is per window.** Each window divides its *own* range, so a P756 bin can be several times wider than a P126 bin. Two POCs landing on the same price are not confirming each other to the same tolerance. Each label's tooltip prints its bin width — read the level as the centre of that band, not as a price. **POC is suppressed, not flagged, when volume is substituted.** A VWAP with missing volume degrades into an unweighted mean, which is still a usable number. A profile with missing volume becomes a bar-*count* histogram, whose peak answers where price spent the most bars regardless of size traded. That is a different statistic wearing the POC's name, so above a threshold nothing is drawn and the dashboard names the reason. ### Why POC is drawn forward, not backward By default a POC starts at the last calculated bar and extends right. It is not drawn back across the window it was computed from. A VWAP tail is a continuous accumulation with a value at every bar. A POC is a single number recomputed every bar with no value anywhere but now. Drawing both back to the same origin would make one line a genuine path and the other a snapshot impersonating one — the same visual gesture carrying two different truth-values, which teaches the wrong reading and creates hindsight support that was never there. `Window + Forward` is available when you want to see the span, with the understanding that the backward segment is decoration. Related: a POC **jumps**. It is an argmax, so when a different bin overtakes the leader the level teleports. A POC that sat at 70k yesterday and prints 62k today is not a data error — it is a window with two shelves close in volume. The single line cannot tell you that, which is the honest limitation of showing a POC without its profile. ### The visual grammar - **Colour = horizon identity**, fixed per rung, never reassigned when other rungs are toggled. 252 is gold whether seven rungs are on or two. - **Solid, width 2 = VWAP** - **Dashed, width 1 = POC**, same colour as its VWAP There is deliberately no horizon-based transparency and no colour-by-price-position. Fading short horizons fought the pairing and restyled everything on every toggle. Colour-by-price-position was redundant with the chart itself — whether a VWAP is above or below price is visible by looking at it — and spending the colour channel on it meant colour was unavailable for identity. The palette is a cool progression (aqua → light blue → blue → lavender → **gold at 252** → violet → deep purple) so the fan reads as one instrument rather than seven unrelated indicators. Gold breaks the ramp deliberately, because 252 is the horizon most often referenced. Green and red stay out of the palette on purpose: they belong to the candles, and to the dashboard. The script declares `scale=scale.none` so a distant 756-bar VWAP cannot drag the price axis and compress the candles you are actually trading. ### Seven VWAPs, three POCs All seven VWAPs ship on. Seven ordered curves read fine, and where they bunch is itself information. POCs are opt-in per rung, defaulting to **126 / 252 / 756** only — medium-term, annual, multi-year. Seven horizontal levels crowd a chart in a way seven curves do not. P189 and P378 are one click away. Global `Show VWAPs` and `Show POCs` switches let you inspect either family alone. ### The structure dashboard A 0–100 read on where price sits relative to the fan and whether the fan is ordered. ``` STRUCT 88 P>VW 7/7 STACK +5/6 BIAS STRONG BULL P>POC 3/3 ``` **Price position — 50 points.** How many VWAP endpoints price is above, as a fraction of the drawn rungs, times 50. **Stack — 50 points.** The adjacent-pair ordering, short over long. Each of the six adjacent pairs scores +1 when the shorter window sits above the longer, −1 when inverted, 0 when they are inside an equality tolerance. Raw range −6 to +6, rescaled to 0–50. The dashboard shows the **signed raw total** (`+5/6`, `0/6`, `−4/6`) rather than a count of bullish pairs, because that signed number is literally what enters the score. Five bullish plus one tied and five bullish plus one inverted are different fans that a bullish-pair count would render identically. The tolerance is normalised by the **anchor timeframe's** ATR, not the chart's — otherwise the same daily fan would classify two near-identical VWAPs as tied on a 130m chart and ordered on a 39m one, purely because the chart-TF ATR is smaller. | Score | Bias | |---:|---| | 85–100 | Strong Bull | | 70–84 | Bull | | 55–69 | Bull Lean | | 45–54 | Neutral | | 31–44 | Bear Lean | | 16–30 | Bear | | 0–15 | Strong Bear | `P>POC` is context only and does **not** enter the score. A volume concentration is a location, not a direction. ### What the score is not Worth stating plainly, because a 0–100 number invites more confidence than this one has earned. **The two components are not independent.** Price above every VWAP and a perfectly stacked fan are largely the same market condition seen twice — in a sustained one-way move both max out together, in chop both sit near their middles. Treat 0–100 as one structural reading measured two ways, not as a composite of separate evidence. The extremes are easier to reach than a two-component construction suggests. **Stack ordering is partly mechanical.** These windows are nested — VW21's bars are a subset of VW63's, which are a subset of VW126's — so in any monotonic trend the ordering *follows* from the trend rather than confirming it independently. Where it earns its keep is at turns, when the short end inverts while price position is still high. That divergence between the two rows is more informative than the combined number. **It is a step function.** With seven rungs, price position moves in jumps of 7.14 and stack in jumps of 4.17. The reading can cross the entire neutral band between two bars without ever printing a value inside it. Small changes are not drift. **The score is withheld when horizons are missing.** Unless every enabled rung produced a VWAP and no two rungs share a lookback, STRUCT and BIAS print `—` and a `check` row names the reason. Normalising over whatever horizons happened to exist would let a two-horizon symbol print `STRUCT 100 / STRONG BULL`, indistinguishable at a glance from a seven-horizon reading. Practical consequence: on a symbol without 756 anchor bars of history, the score stays blank until you turn VW756 off. That is deliberate. Disabling the rungs a symbol cannot support makes the reading an explicit statement about which horizons you are using. ### Confirmed Bars Only With this off (default), windows extend through the current chart bar and update live. With it on, **both ends** move to completed bars: lookbacks shift back one anchor bar, and all accumulation — VWAP, POC, the dashboard's reference price, and the stack tolerance's ATR — stops at the last chart bar of the last completed anchor candle. The fan then stops moving intraday entirely, which is what the switch should mean. Labels still sit at the chart's right edge while the values belong to the last completed candle; that gap is the point of the switch. ### Settings worth knowing - **Anchor Timeframe** — the timeframe every lookback is counted in. Must be at or above the chart timeframe. Every anchor timeframe wants its own ladder; the defaults are a daily one. - **Profile Bins** — maximum POC resolution, capped at one bin per tick. - **Stored Chart Bars** — an origin must fall inside stored history or its rung is dropped, not approximated. Default 10,000 because 756 daily bars on a 39m chart is roughly 7,500 chart bars. - **Dim rungs far from price** — optional, off by default. Fades a rung whose VWAP is beyond a set ATR distance. The whole rung dims together so a pair never splits into one bright line and one faint one. Try `scale.none` alone first. - **Update Mode** — Live redraws every tick, which is necessary rather than wasteful: Pine destroys drawing objects created on an uncommitted tick, so on the forming bar a redraw every tick is the only way curves stay on screen. On Bar Close draws only on committed executions. Use it, or turn POCs off, if the profile passes trip the calculation time limit. - **Show Diagnostics Panel** — full accounting of rungs, drawn objects and failure reasons. Off by default; anything genuinely wrong still surfaces on the dashboard's `check` row. ### Known properties **Chart-timeframe sensitivity.** Origins come from the anchor timeframe, but accumulation uses chart bars, so the same daily setup gives slightly different values on a 39m chart than a 130m one. For the VWAPs this is second order — averaging washes out coarse bucketing. For the POC it is not: an argmax does not average, and a coarse bar spreads its volume uniformly across a range it never traded uniformly through. Expect the POC to shift by a bin or two between chart timeframes, more on symbols with frequent wide-range bars. **Duplicate lookbacks are counted, never merged.** Two rungs set to the same number draw two identical curves in two colours, which looks like two horizons agreeing and is really one horizon entered twice. The dashboard flags it and withholds the score. ### Why VWAP and POC live in one script They are computed from the same window definition. Splitting them would mean two indicators independently re-deriving identical origins, and would make it impossible to guarantee that P252 and VW252 cover exactly the same bars — which is the entire point of reading them as a pair. The dashboard reads only the VWAPs; the POC family is excluded from it precisely because it answers a non-directional question. --- *This is a structural reference tool, not a signal generator. Anchored VWAP Origin Chronicle - Manual Swing High and Low Overview Anchored VWAP Origin Chronicle is an open-source chart overlay for studying chart-reported volume-weighted price from three independently managed origins: * one manually selected chart point; * the latest accepted, confirmed swing-high origin; * the latest accepted, confirmed swing-low origin. The manual time selects the first chart bar included in the manual anchored VWAP. The manual price is used only to position the M marker; moving that marker vertically does not change the calculation. This is not a session-reset VWAP, a deviation-band study, a prediction model, a strategy, or a buy/sell signal system. Its purpose is to make origin selection, confirmation timing, volume availability, visible-window context, and the relationship between two independently anchored structural means explicit and researchable. What the script calculates For each active origin, the calculation is: AVWAP = sum(source x positive chart-reported volume) / sum(positive chart-reported volume) The manual, swing-high, and swing-low AVWAPs maintain independent numerators and denominators. The implementation uses compensated floating-point accumulation to reduce numerical cancellation that can occur when recent anchored values are obtained by subtracting large chart-wide cumulative totals. Missing, zero, negative, or otherwise unusable volume receives zero weight. The script does not replace unavailable volume with equal bar weighting or TWAP. The calculation can therefore remain unavailable on symbols or ranges that do not provide positive chart volume. Manual origin When the indicator is added, select the chart point that should act as the manual origin. * The selected time determines the first included bar. * The selected price positions the M marker only. * The cyan manual AVWAP is independent of the two automatic AVWAPs. * If the selected time is earlier than the loaded dataset, the manual calculation is blocked instead of silently substituting the first loaded bar. * By default, the manual AVWAP is hidden when its origin is outside the current visible horizontal range. This prevents an off-screen manual anchor from appearing as an unexplained line. Disable "Hide manual AVWAP when origin is outside view" when a long-horizon manual projection should remain visible. Hiding the manual curve is a presentation rule only. It does not redefine the selected origin or convert the calculation into a visible-range VWAP. Confirmed swing origins The magenta high-origin AVWAP and green low-origin AVWAP are managed independently. Replacing one origin does not force the other side to reset. An automatic origin is not accepted solely because it is a local high or low. Users can control: * bars required on the left and right of a pivot; * minimum local prominence normalized by ATR; * minimum spacing between same-type origins; * an optional relative-volume requirement at the pivot bar; * the replacement policy. The available replacement policies are: * Latest qualified: accepts each new candidate that passes the active filters. * More prominent only: requires a candidate to improve on the active same-type origin by the configured ATR-normalized margin. * New price extreme only: requires a higher high for the high-origin curve or a lower low for the low-origin curve. Confirmation chronology Automatic pivots require the configured number of right-side bars. A pivot therefore becomes knowable only after its confirmation delay has elapsed. H and L labels identify the historical origin bars after confirmation. The optional confirmation marker identifies the later bar where the pivot became available, and the dotted bridge shows the origin-to-confirmation delay. The automatic AVWAP includes chart-reported volume beginning at the actual pivot bar. However, the curve is not backfilled through the origin-to-confirmation interval. It first appears after confirmation and is broken on an anchor-replacement bar so the previous and replacement origins are not visually connected. This distinction is important: the calculation starts at the pivot, but the automatic origin is not treated as known before confirmation. Visible-window historical research The indicator is designed to support both live observation and historical chart research. Plots, endpoint symbols, retained origin drawings, visible-range volume statistics, and the status panel follow the chart's current visible horizontal range. Scrolling or zooming the chart re-evaluates that research view. The status panel is evaluated at the rightmost visible bar: * LIVE means the visible right edge is the developing realtime bar. * CLOSED means the visible right edge is the latest confirmed bar. * HISTORY means the latest chart bar is outside the visible range and the panel is reporting a historical research state. When HISTORY is shown, later bars do not redefine the panel state displayed for the visible right edge. A pivot that would only be confirmed after that visible right edge is not drawn as an available historical origin in that research view. The underlying AVWAP accumulation still begins at the true accepted origin. The script does not restart an automatic AVWAP at the left edge of the screen. Swing-pair relationship model When both automatic AVWAPs are available, the script reports: * whether the selected context source is above both curves, below both curves, or between them; * the separation between the two curves in ATR units; * whether the pair is within the user-defined convergence threshold; * whether the high-origin curve is above or below the low-origin curve; * optional confirmed order-flip events when the curves cross. The transparent fill describes the current price context. When the two automatic curves are close enough to satisfy the convergence threshold, an amber midpoint spine helps preserve visual separation without moving either AVWAP. These relationships are descriptive. They are not directional forecasts, entries, exits, or trade recommendations. Visual design The default presentation uses: * cyan for the manual AVWAP; * magenta for the confirmed swing-high-origin AVWAP; * green for the confirmed swing-low-origin AVWAP; * a dark contrast halo; * an optional one-pixel precision core; * compact endpoint symbols at the rightmost visible values; * a transparent relationship fill; * an amber convergence spine when the automatic curves overlap closely. Cross, convergence-event, and order-flip markers are available but disabled by default to keep the chart readable. Colors, widths, transparency, retained marker history, panel position, panel size, and right-axis clearance are configurable. Data integrity The panel can report states including WAITING, ORIGIN OUTSIDE VIEW, OUTSIDE LOADED DATA, BLOCKED, NO VOLUME, SYNTHETIC, PARTIAL, and READY. READY has a narrow meaning: the percentage of visible bars with positive usable chart volume meets the configured threshold. It is not a certification of exchange data, broker data, data-vendor accuracy, or market quality. Chart-type and volume handling Standard chart prices are accepted by default. Heikin Ashi, Renko, Kagi, Line Break, Point & Figure, Range, and other calculated-price chart types are blocked by default because their displayed prices are synthetic or transformed. Users can opt in intentionally. When enabled on such charts, the panel identifies the state as SYNTHETIC. The panel also reports the chart's volume type when available. Depending on the symbol, volume can represent exchange volume, base volume, quote volume, tick volume, another reported measure, or no usable value. Alerts All optional events are routed through one dynamic alert call. To use alerts: 1. Enable "Dynamic alerts" in the indicator settings. 2. Create a TradingView alert. 3. Select this indicator. 4. Choose "Any alert() function call." Dynamic messages can report: * newly accepted confirmed swing origins; * confirmed price crosses of the manual, high-origin, or low-origin AVWAP; * transitions into above-both or below-both context; * entry into swing-pair convergence; * order flips between the two automatic AVWAPs. Automatic anchor replacement, event conditions, and alerts are evaluated on confirmed bar close. Active AVWAP values can still change while the current realtime bar is forming because its price and cumulative volume are not final. The visible-window presentation does not redefine the alert conditions. Alert events use the underlying live series and confirmed-bar logic. Suggested workflow 1. Add the indicator and select a meaningful manual origin. 2. Confirm that the chart provides the type of volume you intend to study. 3. Read H and L as confirmed historical origins, not as signals available on the original pivot bar. 4. Compare the independent manual, high-origin, and low-origin AVWAP paths. 5. Use the panel to inspect price context, pair separation, curve order, visible-range volume coverage, and LIVE/CLOSED/HISTORY state. 6. Adjust pivot qualification and replacement policy to study how different origin definitions change the result. 7. Enable optional event markers or alerts only when they are useful to the research question. Limitations * Results depend entirely on the price and volume series supplied by the chart and data provider. * No AVWAP is produced when total positive chart-reported volume from an origin is zero. * Tick volume, base volume, quote volume, and exchange volume are not interchangeable economic measures. * Pivot confirmation necessarily occurs after the pivot bar. Larger right-side settings increase the delay. * H and L labels are placed on historical origin bars only after confirmation. * The open realtime bar can change the current AVWAP values until that bar closes. * Scrolling or zooming changes the visible-window research scope and therefore the panel's visible-range statistics and right-edge state. * Default settings are general research starting points. Volume Profile Anchored VWAP, AVWAP Bands & Deviation [LunqFX]Most anchored VWAP tools make you drag the anchor by hand, and it goes stale the moment structure changes. This one places the anchor automatically at confirmed swing pivots, wraps it in volume weighted standard deviation bands, hangs the leg's volume profile off the right edge, and then measures whether those bands are being respected on the symbol in front of you. The annotated charts below explain the script's output element by element. ❶ AUTO ANCHORED VWAP An anchored VWAP is only meaningful from a point that mattered. Anchor it at an arbitrary bar and it describes nothing; anchor it where the market last turned and it becomes the average price everyone trading THIS leg is carrying — which is exactly the level they defend. The anchor is placed at confirmed swing pivots, with two guards that matter more than they sound: ▸ MINIMUM LEG — a fresh pivot cannot take over until the running leg has had room to form. Without that rule a cluster of pivots chops the curve into stubs and the VWAP never describes anything. ▸ MAXIMUM LEG — a leg that outlives its usefulness resets rather than growing into a whole-history average. Session, weekly and monthly anchors are available for traders who prefer calendar anchoring. ❷ STANDARD DEVIATION BANDS Around the anchored VWAP the script draws volume weighted standard deviation bands at three depths, filled as a gradient so distance from fair value is readable without measuring. Three details make them behave: ▸ WARM-UP — at the anchor the deviation is zero by definition, so the first bars of every leg would draw as a collapsing funnel. Those bars are still measured; they are simply not drawn. ▸ MINIMUM WIDTH — an ATR floor stops the bands pinching shut during dead stretches. ▸ DISPLAY SMOOTHING — the deviation path is box-filtered for drawing only. The VWAP itself and every statistic use the raw values, so nothing you act on is smoothed. ❸ VOLUME FLOW Each bar's participation is drawn as fine texture reaching inward from the band edges: buy pressure rises from the lower edge, sell pressure falls from the upper one, split by where the bar closed inside its own range. The bands are the baseline, so the leg's pressure reads along the structure instead of on a separate pane. ❹ VOLUME PROFILE OF THE LEG At the right edge the script hangs the volume distribution of the whole leg, split buy against sell, with a seam line at the join and a traced outline. Each bar is binned against its OWN slice of the channel rather than a fixed price grid, so a sloping leg does not smear the distribution — a detail most profile overlays skip, and the reason the shape stays honest on a trending market. ❺ BAND REACTION STATISTICS Bands tell you where price is. They do not tell you what that has meant here. So the script measures it: for every touch of the chosen band inside the current leg it checks whether price returned to the VWAP within your window, and reports the share that did, together with the number of touches. That single number changes how the same picture is read. A leg where touches of the upper band came back to VWAP most of the time is mean-reverting, and the band is a fade. A leg where they did not is trending, and the same touch is continuation. Samples too small to conclude anything from are marked with a tilde rather than presented as a result. ❻ WHAT YOU SEE ON THE CHART ▸ Dashed vertical line with the ANCHOR badge — where the current leg begins. ▸ Three teal bands below and three red bands above, filled as a gradient — deviation depth from the VWAP. ▸ Dark line through the middle — the anchored VWAP itself. ▸ Fine ticks along the band edges — per-bar buy and sell participation. ▸ Horizontal rows at the right edge — the leg's volume profile, teal for buy, red for sell. ▸ Panel — side of the VWAP, distance in σ with a position ruler, the VWAP and band levels, and the reaction statistics. ❼ HOW TO TRADE IT 1 — Read the header. Above or below the anchored VWAP is the leg's bias; the σ figure is how stretched price is right now. 2 — Check the reaction row before deciding what a band touch means. High return rate means the bands are fades. Low return rate means they are continuation. 3 — Use the VWAP as the leg's fair value. Pullbacks into it in the direction of the leg are the cleanest entries this tool produces. 4 — Use the volume profile to find where the leg actually traded. Thin rows are areas price passed through quickly and tends to pass through quickly again. 5 — Watch the anchor. A new anchor means structure turned and the previous leg's levels stopped applying. ❽ NON-REPAINTING This is the part that separates an anchored VWAP from a rolling regression channel, and it is worth being precise about. The anchor is a CONFIRMED pivot and only ever moves forward. A VWAP is cumulative, so once a bar closes its contribution to the average is fixed forever — every band value already printed stays exactly where it is. Nothing is recalculated behind you. Every statistic is built from closed bars only. SETTINGS ▸ Anchor — anchor mode (swing pivot, session, week, month), pivot length, minimum and maximum leg. ▸ Bands — three deviation depths, warm-up bars hidden, minimum width in ATR, display smoothing, gradient fill and VWAP line toggles. ▸ Volume Flow — texture height in ATR and thickness. ▸ Volume Profile — rows, width, thickness, seam and outline toggle. ▸ Band Reaction — which band counts as a touch, the reaction window, optional touch markers. ▸ Visuals — candle colouring, anchor marker, dashboard position. ALERTS — upper band touch, lower band touch, VWAP reclaimed, VWAP lost, and new anchor. All fire on closed bars only. WHY THESE PARTS ARE ONE SCRIPT They describe one object at four resolutions. The anchor defines the leg; the standard deviation bands measure dispersion inside it; the flow and the volume profile show where its volume actually went; and the reaction statistics say whether that structure is being respected. Take the anchor away and the VWAP averages a period nobody traded as a unit. Take the profile away and the bands float above an unknown distribution. Take the statistics away and the bands become decoration you have to interpret by feel. None of them stands alone, which is why they ship together. Works on any symbol with volume — forex, metals, indices, crypto and stocks — on intraday and higher timeframes alike. Symbols without real volume data will report a flat profile. Multi-Anchor_VWAP & Deviation Bands [AFD] Three anchored VWAPs on one chart, with the price zones where they agree shaded in for you. WHAT IT IS An anchored VWAP shows the average price everyone has paid since a moment you pick - the gap open, the earnings bar, the swing low that started the move. That is where buyers from that moment sit at break-even, which is why price keeps coming back to it. One anchor answers one question, so most traders end up dropping three or four by hand and dropping them again every session. This runs three at once: each anchors where you want, each carries its own deviation bands, and the script shades the zones where two of them line up. THE CONFLUENCE SHADING Look at this first. It does work you would otherwise do by eye. When your session VWAP and your weekly VWAP arrive at the same price, that price is being watched by two different groups at once. Those levels tend to matter more than either line alone, and with three curves running they are easy to miss. The script shades between any two layers that come within your tolerance of each other - on by default at 8 points, and it checks all three pairings, 1 to 2, 1 to 3 and 2 to 3. Set the tolerance in ticks, points, currency, or percent of price. Trading more than one instrument, use percent: it is the only one you never have to re-tune when you change symbol. THE ANCHORS Ten per layer, mixed freely. Set and forget - Session, Week, Month, Quarter, Year. Re-anchors itself every new period. Pick the bar yourself - Manual timestamp. Type a date and time. This is the one for an earnings bar, a Fed day, a gap. Let the chart find it - prior-session high or low, confirmed swing high or low. These follow structure so you are not re-anchoring by hand. Defaults are session and week, the pairing most intraday traders want. Two things about the structure anchors look broken if nobody warns you: The curve shows up late. A swing is not a swing until enough bars print after it. At swing length 10 the line appears 10 bars after the pivot, then draws itself back to the pivot where it belongs. It never rewrites history. When a newer pivot confirms, the layer re-anchors from there forward. Everything already drawn stays put. THE BANDS Up to three per layer, each with its own multiple from 0.0 to 10.0. They tell you how stretched price is from that anchored average. Four ways to measure the stretch: Standard deviation (default) - how far price usually strays from this average. The classic VWAP band. ATR - sized by recent range instead, so the envelope opens up in fast markets. Percent of VWAP - a fixed percentage. Same shape on any instrument. Standard error - starts wide on a fresh anchor and tightens as the window fills. Type the multiples in, or load a Fibonacci preset: 0.382 / 0.618 / 1.0 for the inner set, 1.0 / 1.618 / 2.618 for the outer. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT CANNOT DO ITS JOB An anchored VWAP can quietly stop being volume-weighted, or stop covering the window you think it does. This one writes it on the layer's own label, and these notes cannot be switched off - they show even with line labels turned off: "UNWEIGHTED (no volume)" or "N bars unweighted" - the feed gives no usable volume, so this is a plain average, not a VWAP. Most indices and some spot forex. This is the one that matters. "one bar per session" / "two-bar window" - a prior-session anchor on a daily or higher chart, where it can only ever span two bars. "clipped to the draw depth" or "segment past the 5,000-bar buffer, not drawn" - the line starts in mid-air because it hit a drawing limit, instead of pretending it reaches further back than it does. "(retro)" - a structure anchor, found after the fact. "RTH" - regular hours only, which changes what the average is. A clean chart carries none of these. One showing up means something you could not otherwise see has happened. SETTING IT UP Add it. Layer 1 takes the session, layer 2 the week, and the shading marks where they agree. Want one clean line? Switch layer 2 off. Want a third timeframe? Switch layer 3 on. Anchoring to an event: Manual timestamp, then the bar's date and time. Anchoring to structure: a confirmed swing or a prior-session extreme. Running two or three layers, turn on "Show anchor" - once bands overlap, a label naming its starting bar beats one that just says "L2". 84 inputs in seven groups, and anything that does not apply greys itself out. ALERTS One alert: VWAP crosses, band crosses, both, or off. Create it in TradingView with "Any alert() function call". It only fires when a bar closes, never mid-bar, so you are not woken up by a wick that gets taken back. WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU USE IT Structure anchors draw late. That is the trade for anchoring to something only confirmable in hindsight. History runs 5,000 bars, and draw depth caps how far a line reaches. Hit either and the label says so instead of the line quietly stopping short. On "Regular hours only" the ATR bands still measure across every bar on the chart, so they use a wider set of bars than the average does. "Current window only" hides older curves once a repeating anchor has cluttered things up. Fills, the prior-window level and the confluence shading switch off in that mode. These bands are this script's own definition, not a claim of equivalence with anyone else's bands of the same name. Not usable in the Pine Screener - the manual anchor needs a time input, and the Screener substitutes its default instead of reading it, so it would anchor from the wrong bar without telling you. One symbol, one timeframe. No higher-timeframe or cross-symbol requests. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Three genuinely independent anchors - own anchor, own source, own colours, own bands. Not one anchor with presets. Confluence shading across all three pairings, in four choices of unit. It anchors to bars it can only recognise after the fact - prior-session extremes and confirmed swings - and back-fills the curve to them. A running-total VWAP cannot reach backwards like that without starting over. It states its own failure modes on the chart instead of returning a number that is not what its name says. The engine runs up to seven independently anchored VWAP streams that place and reset their own anchors automatically — the week open (the default stream), session open, month open, confirmed swing highs and swing lows, the highest-volume bar in a lookback, and a liquidity-sweep anchor that re-anchors from the exact bar where a stop run occurred. On top of the streams it adds volume-weighted deviation bands, automatic confluence cluster zones where multiple streams converge, band-rejection signals, and a stability metric that names which VWAP the market is currently respecting most. Out of the box the chart shows a single clean line: the week-anchored Volume Weighted Average Price with its deviation bands. Every additional stream is one checkbox away. 🔶 WHAT IS AN ANCHORED VWAP? The Volume Weighted Average Price is the average price of an instrument weighted by traded volume — the closest public approximation of the average position price of everyone who transacted since a chosen starting point. An anchored VWAP starts that calculation from a meaningful event rather than an arbitrary date: a weekly open, a swing low, a high-volume climax bar. Price above an anchored VWAP means the average participant since that event is in profit; price returning to it often behaves as a decision level, because it is where the average position breaks even. The power of the tool depends entirely on where it is anchored — which is exactly what this engine automates. 🔶 WHY THIS SCRIPT IS ORIGINAL 1. Automatic multi-anchor engine. Seven streams anchor and re-anchor themselves from objectively defined events — no manual anchor placement, no stale anchors, no guessing. 2. The liquidity-sweep anchor. When a swing level is wicked through and rejected — a stop run — the sweep stream re-anchors from that exact bar and colors itself by implication: the accumulation tone after a sell-side sweep, the distribution tone after a buy-side raid. Averaging from the stop-run bar tracks the entry basis of the participants who engineered it. To our knowledge this anchor type has not been published before. 3. Exact swing anchoring. Swing-anchored streams rebuild their sums retroactively from the true pivot bar once the pivot confirms, so the calculation is mathematically identical to a VWAP hand-anchored on the swing itself — not started late at the confirmation bar. 4. Confluence clusters. When two or more active streams converge within an Average True Range tolerance, the engine draws a cluster zone and labels its strength. Multiple independent volume-weighted averages agreeing on one price is the strongest form of VWAP confluence, detected automatically. 5. The In Control metric. An exponentially decayed crossing-rate measures how cleanly price is respecting each stream; the dashboard names the stream currently in control. Users learn which anchor matters today instead of watching all of them equally. 6. True volume-weighted deviation bands. The bands are built from the volume-weighted variance of the primary stream — not a simple price standard deviation — at two configurable widths, with band-rejection signals printed as a single σ character whose full context lives in the hover tooltip, protected by a signal cooldown. 7. The engine detects everything; the chart shows only what is asked of it. 🔶 HOW IT WORKS Streams: Each stream maintains volume-weighted price and variance sums that reset on its anchor event — new week, new session, new month, a confirmed swing, a lookback volume record, or a qualified liquidity sweep. Between events the sums accumulate bar by bar, producing the stream's live anchored VWAP. Sweep detection: A sweep qualifies when price wicks through the last confirmed swing level but closes back inside it, with per-level memory so the same level cannot re-trigger. The sweep stream then re-anchors from that bar. Deviation bands: The primary stream (selectable; week open by default) carries inner and outer bands at configurable sigma multiples computed from its own volume-weighted variance, with softly tinted zones between them. Signals: A wick beyond the outer band with a close back inside, on the correct side of the VWAP, prints the σ rejection signal — reversion bias toward the average — evaluated on closed bars only and rate-limited by the cooldown. Dashboard: A fully themeable panel lists every stream with its live distance from price in Average True Range units and side, plus the In Control stream, active cluster count, and the current band width. Non-repainting: Anchors use confirmed events, sweeps and signals are evaluated at bar close, and swing streams rebuild exactly rather than approximately. 🔶 HOW TO USE IT 1. Works on any market with reliable volume — cryptocurrency, stocks, indices, futures. On the default settings, read the week-anchored VWAP as the institutional benchmark: above it with rising distance means the average weekly participant is in profit. 2. Treat the VWAP itself as the decision level and the outer bands as stretch: σ rejections at the outer band carry a reversion bias back toward the average. 3. Enable the swing and sweep anchors to study reactions: price returning to a sweep-anchored VWAP is returning to the average entry of the stop-run — a level worth watching. 4. Cluster zones are the highest-value levels the engine produces: several independent volume-weighted averages agreeing on one price. Watch how price behaves on first touch. 5. Use the In Control row to pick which stream deserves your attention today, and the distance column to see what is nearby before it is hit. 6. It answers one question: "what is the fair average price actually paid since the anchor?" That is why institutional execution desks benchmark fills against it, and why price so often reacts when it returns there — it is the level where the average participant in the period is at break-even. From a chosen anchor — the session, a swing pivot, or a bar you click — it builds a volume profile and reads where trade actually happened: the POC (the most-traded price), the value area, and the high- and low-volume nodes. It overlays the anchored VWAP (the mean) on the same anchor, maintains a second time-decayed profile whose value migrates against the sticky POC, and calibrates its stretch signals against the symbol's own past. Everything is built from one idea — volume distributed across price — so the layers describe the same auction from different angles rather than competing for screen space. WHY THESE COMPONENTS ARE COMBINED (and how they work together) Price tells you where the market is; volume-at-price tells you where it agreed value was. A profile alone is a static picture, a VWAP alone is a single line, and neither tells you whether what you are seeing is reliable. Each layer here answers a different question, and they are meant to be read together as one object: - VOLUME PROFILE (POC / VALUE AREA / HVN-LVN) is the distribution of volume across price since the anchor. The POC is the price with the most acceptance. The value area is the price range containing the chosen percentage of volume (default 70%). High-volume nodes (HVN) are acceptance shelves where price tends to stall and rotate; low-volume nodes (LVN) are rejection gaps price tends to move through quickly. WORKS ON ANY ASSET (universal) The price SOURCE for the mean is selectable in the settings, so the engine runs on any market — futures, indices, FX, crypto, or stocks. The profile is built from each bar's true high-low range (and from lower-timeframe bars where available, for accuracy). Volume-at-price requires volume; on symbols that report none, you can borrow volume from a reference symbol. All thresholds are ATR- and sigma-relative, so nothing is tied to one instrument's price scale. A data-health row tells you whether volume is native, borrowed, or refined by lower-timeframe data. They show you the POC and Value Area for the current chart only. This treats each timeframe as an isolated decision space. The problem: institutional flow is not isolated to one timeframe. The market makers operating on the daily horizon see different value areas than those operating on the weekly or 4-hour horizon. Their orders sit at their own POCs and Value Area boundaries. When price approaches a level that only one institutional horizon defends, the reaction is often modest. When price approaches a level that multiple horizons defend simultaneously, the reaction is structurally stronger — that confluence is where the largest pools of resting liquidity accumulate. This indicator addresses that by performing the extraction across five user-configured timeframes simultaneously via `request.security()`, weighting each level by the gravitational significance of its parent timeframe, and then fusing levels from different timeframes that fall within a configurable margin. WALL FUSION ENGINE WITH POLARITY-BALANCE COLORING 🔹 What It Does When two or more levels from different timeframes fall within a configurable percentage threshold (default 0.30%), the engine fuses them into a single block. The fused block inherits the combined weight of all its components — visually thicker, more opaque, more visible than a standalone level. The label of the fused block accumulates the directional triangles of each contributing level (▲ for support, ▼ for resistance). 🔹 Polarity-Balance Coloring The color of a fused block reflects the accumulated weight balance of its constituent levels — not the polarity of the last level to be merged. A block containing four resistance levels (▼▼▼▼) and two support levels (▲▲) will render red, because the resistance weight dominates. A block where support and resistance weights are equal uses a tiebreaker: the position of the current price relative to the block's midpoint. Price above midpoint resolves to support (green); price below resolves to resistance (red). IMPORTANT NOTES The MGI Walls works on any timeframe. The default radar configuration (15m/1h/4h/D/W) is calibrated for intraday and swing trading on liquid instruments. For position trading or scalping, the radar timeframes can be reconfigured to scan longer or shorter horizons respectively. The indicator works best on instruments with reliable volume data: crypto perpetual contracts, large-cap equities, futures, major forex pairs. On low-volume instruments, the Volume Profile component becomes less reliable, though the VWAP and SAR components continue to function correctly. Alerts fire once per confirmed bar. Second, it weights each level by the structural significance of its parent timeframe — a Weekly POC carries five times the gravitational weight of a 15-minute POC — and the Wall Fusion Engine consolidates levels from different timeframes that fall within a configurable margin into a single intensified block, making multi-horizon confluence zones immediately visible as visually thicker walls. Anchored VWAP Suite | Flux Charts GENERAL OVERVIEW The Anchored VWAP Suite is an all-in-one anchored VWAP toolkit designed to plot every meaningful VWAP a trader needs from a single indicator. Instead of dropping a stand-alone anchored VWAP each time the chart prints a new swing high, swing low, daily extreme, or session boundary, the indicator does that work automatically and keeps every line on the chart managed, color-coded, and labeled. The main goal of this indicator is to give traders a clean, automatic read on where the volume-weighted average sits from every important reference point in the market — without having to manually anchor anything. Every line you see on the chart represents the average price the market has traded at since a moment that mattered: a swing high, a session open, today’s low, and so on. It plots six different families of anchored VWAPs simultaneously: Swing High/Low, Lookback High/Low, Daily Open/High/Low, Weekly Open/High/Low, Monthly Open/High/Low, and Session High/Low (Asia, London, NY). Every family is independently configurable — you can enable only the ones you use, set the price source for each, and control the color, line style, and how many of each type stay on the chart. The indicator also smartly merges overlapping VWAP labels at the right edge of the chart. When two or more VWAPs converge to the same level, you see one combined label like "Daily High & Swing Low" instead of multiple stacked labels fighting for space. This indicator was developed for traders who already use anchored VWAPs as part of their workflow and want every important anchor — swing, session, daily, weekly, monthly — drawn for them automatically and kept clean even when many are active at once. WHAT IS THE THEORY BEHIND THIS INDICATOR? An anchored VWAP plots the average price weighted by volume, starting from a specific bar — the "anchor." Once anchored, the line continues forward and updates each bar, showing the volume-weighted average price of everyone who has traded since that anchor was set. Why traders use it: the anchor point is usually a moment of decision in the market — a swing high where supply showed up, a daily open where the session began, or the start of a major session. Everyone who entered around that anchor is now positioned relative to the VWAP. When price reclaims or rejects the line, it tells you whether those traders are in profit or in loss as a group, and the line itself often acts as dynamic support or resistance. The challenge with anchored VWAPs is that there are many useful anchor points. A serious trader might want VWAPs from the last swing high, the last swing low, today’s open, today’s high, today’s low, the previous week’s high, the start of the NY session, and so on. Manually anchoring all of those — and re-anchoring them every time a new extreme prints — is tedious and error-prone. The Anchored VWAP Suite handles this automatically. It detects every meaningful anchor point on the chart, draws the VWAP from that anchor, keeps it updated as new extremes print, retires old VWAPs as they age out, and presents the whole set in a way that stays readable even when ten or more lines are on the chart at once. ANCHORED VWAP SUITE FEATURES The Anchored VWAP Suite includes 7 main features: Session Anchors Swing Anchors Lookback Anchors Daily Anchors Weekly Anchors Monthly Anchors Customization Options 🔹 Method Method controls how each new bar affects a VWAP after its anchor is set. Three modes are available: ◇ Standard: every bar from the anchor counts equally. This is the classic anchored VWAP — older bars carry the same weight as the most recent ones. The line becomes steadily slower to respond as the anchor moves further into the past. ◇ EMA: recent bars are weighted more heavily, using a 2/(N+1) coefficient. The VWAP responds faster to new price action while still tracking back to the anchor point. ◇ RMA: also weights recent bars more, but with a slower 1/N coefficient (Wilder's smoothing). Smoother than EMA, but lags more. The default is RMA, which produces a responsive line that behaves consistently whether the anchor is recent or far back. 🔹 Period Period sets the length used by the EMA and RMA modes. Larger values smooth more — the line moves less. Smaller values make the line more reactive but jumpier. Period is ignored when Method is set to Standard, since Standard treats every bar equally regardless of length. The default is 20. 🔹 Max VWAP Length Max VWAP Length caps how far back a single VWAP can anchor before it's dropped from the chart. The default of 5,000 bars covers most use cases. Raise it if you need to keep very old anchored VWAPs visible — for example, swing VWAPs from far back in history. Lower it if you find the indicator slowing down on heavy charts; a smaller cap means less work to render and a snappier response when many VWAPs are active at once. This cap also applies when a new VWAP is first drawn: anchors older than the configured limit are not created, so every line on the chart always fits inside the configured length. COMMON ANCHOR SETTINGS: SOURCE & COUNT Beyond the General Configuration above, two settings — Source and Count — appear in nearly every anchor family. Because they work the same way across all of them, they are explained here once and then referenced inside each anchor family below. 🔹 Source Source controls which price each bar contributes to the VWAP after the anchor is set, but it does not change the anchor itself. The anchor bar is always pinned to its defining extreme: a Swing High VWAP anchors at the actual high of the swing-high candle, a Daily Open VWAP anchors at the actual open of the day, a Daily Low VWAP anchors at the actual low, and so on. From the bar after that, the Source you choose decides which price gets fed into the volume-weighted calculation. Available sources: ◇ High — only the high of each bar contributes ◇ Low — only the low of each bar contributes ◇ Close — only the close of each bar contributes ◇ Open — only the open of each bar contributes ◇ HLC3 — average of high, low, and close (the classic "typical price") ◇ HL2 — midpoint of high and low ◇ OHLC4 — average of open, high, low, and close In practice, most traders leave Source at the default for each anchor type: High for "high" anchors, Low for "low" anchors, Open for open-based anchors. Switching to HLC3, HL2, or OHLC4 produces a smoother VWAP that's less sensitive to long wicks, while sticking with High, Low, or Close keeps the line tight to a single price point on every bar. 🔹 Count Count controls how many VWAPs of a given type are kept on the chart at once. As new anchors form, older ones drop off automatically — so a Count of 3 on Daily Open VWAPs means the indicator always shows the three most recent daily-open VWAPs and quietly drops anything older. Set Count to 1 for a clean chart that only shows the latest anchor of each type. Raise it when you want a side-by-side view of how price has interacted with multiple historical anchors of the same kind. SESSION ANCHORS 🔹 What Are Session Anchors? Session anchors are VWAPs anchored to the session high and session low of the three major intraday sessions: Asia, London, and New York. They appear as each session develops and lock in once the session closes. 🔹 Default Session Times (New York Time) ◇ Asia: 20:00 – 22:00 ◇ London: 02:00 – 04:00 ◇ New York: 10:00 – 12:00 🔹 Live Re-Anchoring While a session is open, the high and low VWAPs re-anchor automatically each time price prints a new extreme inside that session. The moment the session ends, the final anchors are confirmed and stay on the chart, giving traders a clean record of where the session’s volume-weighted averages sit relative to current price. 🔹 Session Boxes and Labels Each session is also drawn as a colored box that expands as price moves. The box contains the full high-to-low range of the session and is labeled with the session name (Asia, London, NY) along its top edge. Swing anchors are VWAPs drawn from the last confirmed swing high or swing low on the chart. A swing high is a candle whose high stands above the highs of the bars surrounding it; a swing low is the opposite. Both make natural anchor points because they often mark the moment supply or demand showed up in size. 🔹 How the Indicator Detects Swings The indicator looks for pivots using two confirmation windows: a "Swing Bars Left" count and a "Swing Bars Right" count. The current pivot must be the most extreme bar over both windows before the swing is locked in, and a VWAP is anchored to it. Larger values catch only the more meaningful swings; smaller values catch more frequent (but noisier) ones. The default is 10 bars left and 10 bars right. 🔹 Count Up to 10 swing-high VWAPs and 10 swing-low VWAPs can be kept on the chart at once. As new swings form, older ones drop off automatically. 🔹 Extend All Toggle When Extend All is on, every kept swing VWAP keeps drawing forward to the current bar — useful for studying how price interacts with multiple historical anchors at once. The Highest High VWAP re-anchors whenever the current bar’s high tops the highest high of the previous N bars. The Lowest Low VWAP works the same way for new lows. 🔹 How It Helps Where a swing anchor needs confirmation bars before it locks in, a lookback anchor responds the moment a new extreme is made. The Max VWAP Length setting controls how far back a single VWAP can anchor before it’s dropped from the chart. The default of 5,000 bars covers most use cases. If you need to keep extremely old anchored VWAPs visible, raise the value; if you find the indicator is slow on large symbols, lower it. Live anchors (the developing daily, weekly, monthly, and session anchors) update intra-bar so the line keeps pace with price. Historical bars never repaint after they close. When Extend All is off (default for Swing, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly families), each VWAP of a given type stops where the next one of the same type begins. This keeps the chart from looking cluttered when many historical anchors are kept. Helion Trend Weave [JOAT]Helion Trend Weave Introduction The Helion Trend Weave is an open-source volatility-adaptive multi-MA ribbon overlay that self-adjusts its period lengths based on real-time ATR regime. In high-volatility environments, periods shorten for faster response; in calm markets, they lengthen for noise reduction. The ribbon consists of up to 12 moving average filaments with four-state color logic that provides instant trend phase recognition: dominant rise, fading rise, dominant fall, and fading fall. Beyond simple trend direction, HTW measures ribbon spread as a trend strength gauge, detects compression squeezes, identifies ribbon inversions (twists), and generates six distinct signal types — all with cooldown-based anti-overlap to keep the chart clean. This indicator addresses a fundamental limitation of static moving average systems: fixed periods that work well in one volatility environment fail in another. A 20-period EMA that provides clean signals in a trending market produces whipsaws in a choppy one. HTW solves this by dynamically morphing all ribbon periods through a volatility ratio, while providing a comprehensive suite of trend diagnostics through its dashboard and signal architecture. SURGE (Momentum Surge): Compression releases into rapid expansion — the ribbon was squeezed and is now expanding with directional conviction. This is a structural breakout signal. TWIST LOCK: Ribbon inversion confirmed after a configurable number of bars of sustained new alignment. More conservative than a simple crossover. FAN (Filament Fan): All filaments achieve perfect sequential order — a powerful trend confirmation that indicates full ribbon alignment. SNAP (Snap Recoil): Price crosses the ribbon midpoint against the current trend direction while the ribbon has meaningful width. This is a mean-reversion signal.
