Bollinger + RSI, Double Strategy (by ChartArt)Bollinger Bands + RSI, Double Strategy
This strategy uses a slower RSI with period 16 to sell when the RSI increases over the value of 55 (or to buy when the value falls below 45), with the classic Bollinger Bands strategy to sell when the price is above the upper Bollinger Band and falls below it (and to buy when the price is below the lower band and rises above it). This strategy only triggers when both the RSI and the Bollinger Bands indicators are at the same time in the described overbought or oversold condition. In addition there are color alerts which can be deactivated.
This basic strategy is based upon the "RSI Strategy" and "Bollinger Bands Strategy" which were created by Tradingview and uses no money management like a trailing stop loss and no scalping methods. Every win/loss trade is simply counted from the last overbought/oversold condition to the next one.
This strategy does not use close prices from higher-time frame and should not repaint after the current candle has closed. It might repaint like every Tradingview indicator while the current candle hasn't closed.
All trading involves high risk; past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Ichimoku-Hausky_v2.1Made a little update to my trading system. This system is made so that you can easily follow the trend and know when to get out. You still have to know basic market structure to find a good entry.
NB!! I see that i placed the entry wrong on the example, you have too wait for the EMA to go below the MA :)
I have posted the right one at the bottom.
Take profit can be set at last low or you can use trail stop on the EMA, MA, Kijun-sen or Tenkan-sen.
Example rules:
Buy:
IF Market is in a trend or are possibly close to break out of range
THEN see if price has closed above cloud
IF price has closed above cloud
THEN see if EMA has crossed above MA
IF EMA has crossed above MA
THEN buy or wait for pullback
Sell:
IF Market is in a trend or are possibly close to break out of range
THEN see if price has closed below cloud
IF price has closed below cloud
THEN see if EMA has crossed below MA
IF EMA has crossed below MA
THEN buy or wait for pullback
Patrick's Buy HistogramSet up a trailing stop at about 0. Look for the red dots.and that's a good point to enter a long trade.
QQE MT4QQE (Quantative Qualitative Estimation) MT4 Version by Roman Ignatov
Another indicator from MT4 to pinescript, from a google search i found the that the original author is unknown and its best used for volatile pairs /JPY
yellow line is a smoothed rsi,
red line "slow trailing stop" is the ATR smoothing with a 14-periods wilders smoothing function that is multiplied by a factor of 4.236
Also big thanks to BlindFreddy, i used part of his supertrend indicator to make it work
Colored Volume Bars [LazyBear]Edgar Kraut proposed this simple colored volume bars strategy for swing trading.
This is how the colors are determined:
- If today’s closing price and volume are greater than 'n' days ago, color today’s volume bar green.
- If today’s closing price is greater than 'n' days ago but volume is not, color today’s volume bar blue.
- Similarly, if today’s closing price and volume is less than 'n' days ago, color today’s volume bar orange.
- If today’s closing price is less than 'n' days ago but volume is not, color today’s volume bar red.
Buy the green or blue volume bars, use a 1% trailing stop, and stand aside on red or orange bars.
As you see, this is more for entry confirmation. I have not tested this on any instrument.
You may have to tune the lookback period for your instrument. Default is 10.
