Nasdaq Index is the worst performer out of the three U.S. major index down -3.35% at the time of reporting compare to Dow -3.10% and S&P 500 -2.92%, all had the same impact as fear of the spread of coronavirus outside China increases and the effect it could have on global economic growth as reported by the IMF.
The Index fell more than -2% during the first trades and accelerated close to its previous lows at around 9144.00 before pushing back up to its opening price. The Index needs to go through two resistance price level at 9241.00 and 9271.00 before taking on the major point at 9396.80 if it's going to recover from this current selloff. The Index could decline further and drift into a severe sell-off if it fails at 9144.00
