Litecoin has shown surprising strength against the majors. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both lagging, with very little buying interest, holding narrow ranges at their respective value areas. But Litecoin has surprisingly made a run for the mid $100 handle, after lagging in the $120-$130 range last week. We were able to first break through $141, which itself was a surprise, as this level seemed to be an upper bound, based on performance from last week. We topped out at this level and felt out the $130's subsequently. But we had a good pivot at $134, and then blasted off, smashing $141, and the next level after that at $147. Currently, we are making a run for $153, but appear to be running out of steam as a red triangle on the KRI has started to signal that we may be facing some resistance. If reality sets in, based on performance of the majors, we can expect a sharp dip back to $141 or $134. If not, the next target after $153 is $158.
