Using RSI
I use a system that helps judge momentum based on price action and rsi

based on plots

cyan is bull
yellow is bear

cross over technique is used

when 3 lines cross over or under, and you get two confirmed momentum signals in a row thats a confirmed entry long or short

to close you want two or three momentum signals opposing your trade

to flip trade all 3 lines must cross and the 2 flash momentum check is given


bullish and bearish divergence also work so use them to aid the strength of the move.

New changes to the overlay
we want to be able to use RSI still for regular divergences so we must keep RSI clean

so i moved the signals to the chart

same idea, best used in conjunction with Satoshi RSI Crossover technique

in essence you dont want to enter a trade unless you get two positives/negatives INSIDE the "cloud"

the cloud are moving averages i chose specifically for this script and may also be changed to a weighted MA

best results are when the signals are across the median as well (13ma) but simply getting into the cloud will suffice

1- you want to close your order once you receive 3-4 signals apposing your entry
2- if you have crossover on Satoshi RSI
3- when your entry signal starts closing outside the cloud.

You dont want to flip bias until VALLEY RANGE SYSTEM does
if you risk entering a trade against the trend losses WILL occur unless planned for.
only scalps/day trades are prohibited on any trades against the trend in your desired TF

Trend based indicator

Will display positives or negatives depending on trend momentum

when momentum stalls you wont get any + or - until a direction in momentum is chosen

Trade idea

once you are trending with the cloud enter shorts when red and you receive a -
or long when blue and you receive a +
exit once the trend flips aka the cloud changes

entry into the opposing trend is ill advised , only trade with the trend

Reverted back to the old settings where it gave you a signal with each candle close

Once a trend begins the "Positives/Negatives" will stop reprinting
