Average Directional Movement Rating quantifies momentum change in the ADX . It is calculated by adding two values of ADX (the current value and a value n periods back), then dividing by two. This additional smoothing makes the ADXR slightly less responsive than ADX . The interpretation is the same as the ADX ; the higher the value, the stronger the trend.
It's a remake of the previous script but for use in reverse positions at the same time.
In this script the reality could be even better than the Backtest, because, only close the position with profit, so profitability should be 100%, and Longs and Shorts don't mix because they are independent.
In real trade, you need an exchange that allows you to go in reverse...
Forex Master v4.0 is a mean-reversion algorithm currently optimized for trading the EUR/USD pair on the 5M chart interval. All indicator inputs use the period's closing price and all trades are executed at the open of the period following the period where the trade signal was generated.
There are 3 main components that make up Forex Master v4.0:...
The non-signal version of the absolute strength indicator from fxcodebase.com requested by ernie76 . This indicator originally from mt4 aim to estimate the bullish/bearish force of the market by using various methods.
Two lines are plotted, a bull line (blue) representing the bullish/buying force...
Constructs the trailing ATR stop above or below the price, and switches directions when the source price breaks the ATR stop. Uses the Average Directional Index (ADX) to switch between ATR multipliers. The higher multiplier is used when the ADX is rising, and the lower ATR multiplier is used with the ADX is falling. This ADX criteria further widens the gap between...
This script is an implementation of a well known Bollinger band + ADX retracement strategy for 1min to 15min charts. This variation uses my own settings, a market direction filter and has an alert that can be added to your trading alarms.
The goal of this study was to use ADX from Higher Timeframe - to determine trend direction
Why? Because ADX is very sensitive, able to show trend ending without any delay, but not in the middle of it.
Being able to see such immediate trend change on higher timeframe, is a great indicator of trend direction.
Adding just security() calls to 'highest', 'lowest' and...
Version 2 added support for MTF, to see the trend direction on the lower or higher timeframe.
As an example to see the difference, the indicator is added three times, one time for the current TF, one set at the higher and one at the lower TF.
Cudo's to Chris Moody for the MTF-switching-code!!

The strategy was authored by Hucklekiwi Pip back in 2015 and is still being updated today. She says that the system was designed to simply catch short-term forex trends. At its heart, the system is a simple EMA crossover strategy with a couple of other indicators used for confirming entries.
See her original post...
Combined LazyBears ZeroLag EMA and CapnOscars moving average ADX. Here's the result.
I figured it could be used as a trend trendtrading system,
ADX red + ema cross downards = short.
ADX green + ema cross up = long.
ADX black + ema cross = no trade
Or something along those line. A way filter out whipsaws.
This is just something I threw together in 5 min, so...
