TTP OI + LS signal filterThis oscillator helps filtering specific conditions in the market based on open interest (OI) and the ratio of longs and shorts (LS) for crypto assets.
Currently it works with BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P but soon I'll be adding support for more assets.
It flags areas of interest like:
- Too many longs, too many shorts in the market
- Open interest too high or too low
It accepts an external signal as a source in which case filters can be applied to the original signal. For example the external signal might trigger and plot a 1 when RSI break below 70. By connecting such signal with this oscillator you'll be able to only pass-through the ones that occur when any of the areas of interest mentioned above are also valid.
If both filter are applied it acts as an OR. For example, if too many longs and too many shorts are active, it will pass through the signal in either condition.
The results of the original signal filtered is printed to be able to later use it in any external backtester strategy that accepts external sources too.
If external source signal is disabled it will trigger any time the combined filters are returning true.
Open interest and the ratio of longs/shorts is considered too high whenever the stochastic RSI calculation of the OI or ratio LS reaches a level above 80 and too low when below 20
The ratio of long/shorts is calculated by dividing the ratio of longs vs shorts from BITFINEX:BTCUSDLONGS and BITFINEX:BTCUSDSHORTS

Volume Profile Volume Delta OI Delta [Kioseff Trading]Hello!
This script serves to distinguish volume delta for any asset and open interest delta for Binance perpetual futures.
The image above provides further explanation of functionality and color correspondence.
The image above shows the indicator calculating volume at each tick level and displaying the metric.
The label color outline (neon effect) is configurable; the image above is absent the feature.
The image above shows Open Interest (OI) Delta calculated - similar to how the script calculates volume delta - for a Binance Perpetual Future pair.
This feature only works for Binance Futures pairs; the script will not load when trying to calculate OI Delta on other assets.
Additionally, a heatmap is displayable should you configure the indicator to calculate it.

Of course, these calculations - when absent requisite data - require some assumptions to better replicate calculations with access to requisite data.
The indicator assumes a 60/40 split when a tick level is traded at and only one metric - "buy volume" or "sell volume" is recorded. This means there shouldn't be any levels recorded where "buy volume" is greater than 0 and "sell volume" equals 0 and vice versa. While this assumption was performed arbitrarily, it may help better replicate volume delta and OI delta calculations seen on other charting platforms.
This option is configurable; you can select to have the script not assume a 60/40 split and instead record volume "as is" at the corresponding tick level.
The script also divides volume and open interest if a one-minute bar violates multiple tick levels. The volume or open interest generated on the one-minute bar will be divided by the number of tick levels it exceeds. The results are, subsequently, appended to the violated tick levels.
Further, the script can be set to recalculate after a user-defined time threshold is exceeded. You can also define the percentage or tick distance between levels.
Also, it'd be great if this indicator can nicely replicate volume delta indicators on other charting platforms. If you've any ideas on how price action can be used to better assume volume at the corresponding price area please let me know!

Options Scalping by harsh gbychi this is my script.
Bank Nifty Live OI Change Chart can give very useful clues for intraday support and resistance levels for Bank Nifty. If there is more addition in Open Interest at 12200 Calls, that would mean most market players are comfortable writing call options at this level because they believe it to be a strong resistance. That would be bearish indication for BankNifty.
Similarly is there is highest writing in 12000 Puts that would indicate strong intraday support at that level.
Third Scenario: There is good amount of Open Interest increase in 12000 PE and 12200 CE –> this means we should expect a range bound session for the day, as both bears and bulls are comfortable holding the 12200 and 12000 levels respectively.
Following factors could improve reliability of BankNifty OI Change analysis:
1) Put Call Ratio: Higher PCR means bullishness. If there is more writing at 12000PE and PCR is high and increasing during the day that would add to bullish scenario
If the PCR is declining for the day and more writing happening at 12200CE then this adds to bearishness.
2) Close to expiry: The closer to expiry we are, the more reliable the ‘Open Interest’ analysis. Early in the series, the OI analysis is less reliable.
3) More Players: As the number of players increase, the OI analysis become more reliable.
4) Bid-ask Spread: The lower the bid-ask spread the more reliable the OI analysis.
5) Technical Indicators: The best trades are found by combining OI analysis with other technical indicators. MACD, RSI, Channel lines and EW count give best results with Open Interest Analysis.

COT Net Positions
Plots the COT net positions from the legacy report data from Quandl. Plots the commercial, non commercial and non reportables. Each plot can be hidden as needed.
I've tried to capture the basic dollar based currencies and the futures such as corn, wheat, rice, oil, hogs etc. The symbols required a little translation to match what Quandl is expecting but I think I got most of them. Please let me know of any issues with these.

Few important caveats:
- EVERY BUYER NEED A SELLER AND EVERY SELLER NEED A BUYER
- This indicator is meant to give you a sense of direction for the market orders ("who is the aggresive side") and should be used as confluence not as true values
In reality, in market movement each candle will contain both buying and selling, contracts closing and opening but due to some limitations that is hard to make properly.
Even with these limitations this indicator can provide a better picture than some other even external tools out there.
The main benefit of using volume delta and open interest instead of just open interest and candle closes G/R that it solves the problem with extreme cases where there might be an absorption of market orders.
Example of the Volume Edge in Action:
Bullish Absorption (The "Trap" for Sellers)
Candle Close + OI: A large Red Candle forms with Rising OI. The interpretation is simply: "New shorts are opening"
Volume Delta + OI: The same Red Candle with Rising OI has a Positive Volume Delta.
The True Story: Aggressive buyers tried to push the price up, but they were completely absorbed by large passive sell orders.
The "Volume Delta" logic:
If OI ↑ → new positions opened
• Delta ↑ → net longs added
• Delta ↓ → net shorts added
If OI ↓ → positions closed
• Delta ↑ → shorts closing
• Delta ↓ → longs closing

This script was inspired by the Coinglass indicator: www.coinglass.com
It divides each bar into subbars determined by the intrabar period. For each bar, it considers subbars with a positive OID (open interest delta) (if the user sets "Filter by Signal" to true, it only considers subbars with OID > 0 from a main bar that had a peak in open interest). In these subbars, it considers opened long/short positions based on the intrabar price movement and the dispersion factor (which becomes completely unnecessary if the user is using Intrabar Resolution in ticks; in this case, set the dispersion factor = 0).
After determining the opened long and short positions, it determines, based on the user-selected leverages, the liquidation level for each position. The width of each level is given by syminfo.mintick * scale. The script uses the intrabar OID from the previous step to store an estimate of the number of contracts to be liquidated at each level. This estimate is used to color the levels by order of magnitude.
If there is a subsequent increase in liquidations at a pre-existing level, the script accumulates the estimated number of contracts to be liquidated and repaints the level. A note about a visual limitation of the script is important: in Coinglass' version, when there is a subsequent increase in liquidations at a pre-existing level, Coinglass paints the level a brighter color ONLY from the moment of the increase—however, this script does not do this; it repaints the entire level with the brighter color. Note: While accurate, this script is only a proxy. Use at your own risk.
This script has alerts for when there is liquidation in the long or short direction.

🔶 EXAMPLE OF SUITE
In the example above, we can see how we can plot long and short positions, both opening and closing out.
This can give a unique way to view which side is the strongest but also which side has the most resting liquidity.
For example, if more longs are entering the market, it also means more liquidity for longs and vice versa.
Or, for example, plotting the delta OI will allow the user to see big percentages in change and spot big areas of position closing out.
This presents a fascinating method for observing numerous positions closing out in conjunction with a surge of liquidations, which could indicate a potential reversal in price.
Here, we can see a basic example of using intraday volume on a 1m LTF.
With this, we are able to see both bullish and bearish volume of the same candle, very useful to see both volumes traded in the same candle.
Using the CVD to see the overall direction based purely on the volume and spot divergence, for example, the price in an uptrend but CVD going down, indicating weak shorts in the market or trapped shorts.
Or simply view liquidations happening in the market in a very different way, both long and short liquidation at the same time + the option to use multi-timeframe liquidations.

This script lets you visualize where there were Open Interest build-ups and discharges on a price basis.
It only supports pairs where TradingView added the appropriate Open Interest data (at the time of posting that is only Binance and Kraken perpetual contracts)
The script uses my own functions to poll lower timeframe data and compile it into a higher timeframe profile. And as such, it needs some tweaking to adjust it to your timeframe until Tradingview lets me do it codewise (hopefully one day)
The instructions for using the Indicators are as follows:

Trading Strategy & Timeframes
This oscillator is designed to be versatile, but its effectiveness can vary depending on the timeframe.
Optimal Timeframes (1H and 4H): The indicator has shown its highest effectiveness on the 1-hour and 4-hour charts. These timeframes are ideal for capturing significant shifts in market sentiment reflected in OI and funding data, filtering out short-term noise while still providing timely reversal signals.
Lower Timeframes (e.g., 1-min, 5-min, 15-min): On shorter timeframes, the oscillator is still a highly effective tool, but it is best used as a confluence factor within a broader trading system. Due to the increased noise on these charts, it is not recommended to use its signals in isolation. Instead, use it as a final argument for entry. For example, if your primary scalping strategy gives you a buy signal, you can check if the oscillator is also exiting the oversold (green) zone to add a powerful layer of confirmation to your trade.

The Price OI Division indicator (`P_OI_D`) is a custom TradingView script designed to analyze the relationship between price momentum and open interest (OI) momentum. It visualizes the divergence between these two metrics using a modified MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) approach, normalized to percentage values. 🟡 COT Index
The COT Index tracks where the current non-commercial net position lies within its 1-year and 3-year historical range. It reflects institutional accumulation or distribution phases.

🔁 Flip Detection
Flip refers to the crossovers between long% and short%, indicating a change in directional bias among trader groups. When long positions exceed shorts (or vice versa), it signals a possible market flip in sentiment or trend.
For example, Pair B commercial flip is calculated as:
Long% = (Long/Open Interest)×100
Short% = (Short/Open Interest)×100
Flip = Long%−Short%
A bullish flip occurs when long% overtakes short%, and vice versa for a bearish flip. These flips often precede price trend changes or confirm sentiment breakouts.
Flip captures how far current positioning deviates from historical norms — highlighting periods of institutional overconfidence or exhaustion, often leading to significant market turns.
This combination offers a multi-layered edge for identifying when smart money is flipping direction, and whether that flip has strong conviction or is likely to fade.

Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD)█ OVERVIEW
Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) is a volume-based trading indicator that provides a visual representation of market buying and selling pressure by calculating the difference in traded volumes between the two sides. It uses intrabar information to obtain more precise volume delta information than methods using only the chart's timeframe.
Volume delta is the net difference between Buy Volume and Sell Volume. Positive volume delta indicates that buy volume is more than sell volume, and opposite. So Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) is a running total/cumulation of volume delta values, where positive VD gets added to the sum and negative VD gets subtracted from the sum.
I found simple and fast solution how to calculate CVD, so made plain and concise code, here is CVD function :

where _c, _o, _v are close, open and volume of intrabar much lower timeframe.
Indicator uses intrabar information to obtain more precise volume delta information than methods using only the chart's timeframe.
Intrabar precision calculation depends on the chart's timeframe:
CVD is good to use together with open interest, volume and price change.
For example if CVD is rising and price makes good move up in short period and volume is rising and open interest makes good move up in short period and before was flat market it is show big chance to pump.

Multi Asset Performance indicator (also called “Spaghetti”) makes it easy to monitor the changes in Price, Open Interest, and On Balance Volume across multiple assets simultaneously, distinguish assets that are overperforming or underperforming, observe the relative strength of different assets or currencies, use it as a tool for identifying mean reversion opportunities and even for constructing pairs trading strategies, detect "risk-on" or "risk-off" periods, evaluate statistical relationships between assets through metrics like correlation and beta, construct hedging strategies, trade rotations and much more.
Start by selecting a time period (e.g., 1 DAY) to set the interval for when data is reset. This will provide insight into how price, open interest, and on-balance volume change over your chosen period. In the settings, asset selection is fully customizable, allowing you to create three groups of up to 30 tickers each. These tickers can be displayed in a variety of styles and colors. Additional script settings offer a range of options, including smoothing values with a Simple Moving Average (SMA), highlighting the top or bottom performers, plotting the group mean, applying heatmap/gradient coloring, generating a table with calculations like beta, correlation, and RSI, creating a profile to show asset distribution around the mean, and much more.
One of the most important script tools is the screener table, which can display:
🔸 Percentage Change (Represents the return or the percentage increase or decrease in Price/OI/OBV over the current selected period)
🔸 Beta (Represents the sensitivity or responsiveness of asset's returns to the returns of a benchmark/mean. A beta of 1 means the asset moves in tandem with the market. A beta greater than 1 indicates the asset is more volatile than the market, while a beta less than 1 indicates the asset is less volatile. For example, a beta of 1.5 means the asset typically moves 150% as much as the benchmark. If the benchmark goes up 1%, the asset is expected to go up 1.5%, and vice versa.)
🔸 Correlation (Describes the strength and direction of a linear relationship between the asset and the mean. Correlation coefficients range from -1 to +1. A correlation of +1 means that two variables are perfectly positively correlated; as one goes up, the other will go up in exact proportion. A correlation of -1 means they are perfectly negatively correlated; as one goes up, the other will go down in exact proportion. A correlation of 0 means that there is no linear relationship between the variables. For example, a correlation of 0.5 between Asset A and Asset B would suggest that when Asset A moves, Asset B tends to move in the same direction, but not perfectly in tandem.)
🔸 RSI (Measures the speed and change of price movements and is used to identify overbought or oversold conditions of each asset. The RSI ranges from 0 to 100 and is typically used with a time period of 14. Generally, an RSI above 70 indicates that an asset may be overbought, while RSI below 30 signals that an asset may be oversold.)
⚙️ Settings Overview:
◽️ Period
Periodic inputs (e.g. daily, monthly, etc.) determine when the values are reset to zero and begin accumulating again until the period is over. This visualizes the net change in the data over each period. The input "Visible Range" is auto-adjustable as it starts the accumulation at the leftmost bar on your chart, displaying the net change in your chart's visible range. There's also the "Timestamp" option, which allows you to select a specific point in time from where the values are accumulated. The timestamp anchor can be dragged to a desired bar via Tradingview's interactive option. Timestamp is particularly useful when looking for outperformers/underperformers after a market-wide move. The input positioned next to the period selection determines the timeframe on which the data is based. It's best to leave it at default (Chart Timeframe) unless you want to check the higher timeframe structure of the data.
◽️ Data
The first input in this section determines the data that will be displayed. You can choose between Price, OI, and OBV. The second input lets you select which one out of the three asset groups should be displayed. The symbols in the asset group can be modified in the bottom section of the indicator settings.
◽️ Appearance
You can choose to plot the data in the form of lines, circles, areas, and columns. The colors can be selected by choosing one of the six pre-prepared color palettes.
◽️ Labeling
This input allows you to show/hide the labels and select their appearance and size. You can choose between Label (colored pointed label), Label and Line (colored pointed label with a line that connects it to the plot), or Text Label (colored text).
◽️ Smoothing
If selected, this option will smooth the values using a Simple Moving Average (SMA) with a custom length. This is used to reduce noise and improve the visibility of plotted data.
◽️ Highlight
If selected, this option will highlight the top and bottom N (custom number) plots, while shading the others. This makes the symbols with extreme values stand out from the rest.
◽️ Group Mean
This input allows you to select the data that will be considered as the group mean. You can choose between Group Average (the average value of all assets in the group) or First Ticker (the value of the ticker that is positioned first on the group's list). The mean is then used in calculations such as correlation (as the second variable) and beta (as a benchmark). You can also choose to plot the mean by clicking on the checkbox.
◽️ Profile
If selected, the script will generate a vertical volume profile-like display with 10 zones/nodes, visualizing the distribution of assets below and above the mean. This makes it easy to see how many or what percentage of assets are outperforming or underperforming the mean.
◽️ Gradient
If selected, this option will color the plots with a gradient based on the proximity of the value to the upper extreme, zero, and lower extreme.
◽️ Table
This section includes several settings for the table's appearance and the data displayed in it. The "Reference Length" input determines the number of bars back that are used for calculating correlation and beta, while "RSI Length" determines the length used for calculating the Relative Strength Index. You can choose the data that should be displayed in the table by using the checkboxes.
◽️ Asset Groups
This section allows you to modify the symbols that have been selected to be a part of the 3 asset groups. If you want to change a symbol, you can simply click on the field and type the ticker of another one. You can also show/hide a specific asset by using the checkbox next to the field.
