If a high-volume node was created in the past, but the price has since crossed back through that level, the indicator disregards the previous volume. Therefore, it prioritizes the most recent market participants at any given price level. This is particularly useful for identifying: 1) Fresh Support/Resistance: Levels where volume has accumulated recently without being invalidated by a price cross-through. 2) Real-time Liquidity: Seeing exactly where the supply and demand reside in the current market structure in terms of volume transacted for the particular asset.
