Crypto Candlestick Patterns - CN VersionIntroduction:
The candlestick chart has been used for centuries since the Japanese applications. Based on the candlestick charting, people developed candle pattern analysis. Now we have tons of books or articles illustrating the usage of reversal patterns and continuation patterns, and computers provide a faster and preciser way to recognize these pattern.
Originally we have a common *All Candlestick Patterns* indicator to use. This indicator works well for most of the markets or commodities including stocks and futures. However, for cryptocurrency market, quite a few patterns are not suitable anymore. For example, crypto markets are continuously running 7x24hrs and the big coins with good volume tend to have almost continuous price in commonly used time periods. Hence, original patterns with "window" or "jump" concepts are usually not applied to crypto.
For these issues, I modified the original *All Candlestick Patterns* indicator and introduced the Chinese version for people speaking such language.
Like most of the other indicators, I personally do not recommend anyone to simply follow the patterns it shows to enter the market. You may take these recognized patterns as a reference, and further actions on trading should be done with several other tools, such as MACD, RSI, Stochastic and etc.
Usage:
The application of this indicator is basically the same as the original *All Candlestick Patterns* and you will get an automatically generated pattern recognition by your computer system.
There are a few parameters to adjust for the indicator:
Trending Detection Settings: Here you can choose SMA-Fast, SMA-Fast/Slow or None detecting options to recognize the current market trend. This is a minor improvement from the original indicator and you can choose your preferred trending detecting settings by changing the length of SMA.
Candlestick Settings: You may adjust the rules to recognize the properties of candlesticks. I add a "perturbation" parameter here, which actually is an error tolerance for pattern recognition. Some seemingly pattern may not fulfill the strict rules of classic candlestick patterns, but we may recognize them by watch the charting on our own. Hence this error tolerance may show more potential patterns from the charting.
Plot Settings: It is the usually colour choice and providing options for bullish/bearish.
Pattern Settings: Here you can select the patterns that you would like to see from the charting. You can pick the preferred reversal patterns or choose to show all the patterns. It's all up to you!
Features:
Language Translation: Since this is a Chinese language version. I have replaced all the English explanation of patterns to Chinese ones. Move your mouse to the label, you will find a brief intro of the pattern and a notice about bullish or bearish signals it indicates.
Alerts: As the same as the original one, we will have the alert options from this indicator. All the alerts and their messages are Chinese. You can activate alerts based on this indicator from the alert management section, as the same as many other indicators you have used before.
Future Improvements:
For now I am satisfied with the work I have done, and I may apply it to several charts. It's welcome for any users to take a look at the codes and put modifications or improvements towards it. Currently most of the comments in the code are in Chinese language, since basically it's for Chinese speaking users, while the code itself and the parameter names should be pretty easy to understand in English. (I have been using English for writing in the past 8 years, hence this introduction is in English as well.)

Forex Master Pattern Screener 2Overview
The Forex Master Pattern Screener 2 is based on the Master Pattern, which includes contraction, expansion, and trend phases. This indicator is designed to identify and visualize market volatility, market phases, multi-timeframe contractions, liquidity points, and pivot calculations. It provides a clear image of the market's expansion and contraction phases. It's based on an alternative form of technical analysis that reveals the psychological patterns of financial markets through three phases.
Unlike the other master pattern indicators that just use highs and lows and aren't as accurate for finding contractions, this one uses actual measures of volatility to find extremely low levels of volatility and has customizable parameters depending on what you want to do.
What is the Forex Master Pattern?
The Forex Master Pattern is a framework that revolves around understanding market cycles, comprising the three main phases: contraction, expansion, and trend.
Contraction Phase: During this phase, the market has low volatility and is consolidating within a narrow range. Institutional volume tends to be low, and it's suggested to avoid trade entries during this period.
Expansion Phase: Volatility starts to increase, and there start to be bigger moves in price. Institutional traders start accumulating positions in this phase, and they might manipulate prices to draw in retail traders, creating liquidity for their own buying or selling goals.
Trend Phase: This final phase completes the market cycle. Institutional traders begin taking profits, leading to a reversal. This triggers panic among retail traders, resulting in liquidations and stops. This generates liquidity for institutional traders to profit, leaving retail traders with overvalued positions.
Value Line:
The "value line" acts as the fair value zone or the neutral belief zone where buyers and sellers agree on fair value. It can be likened to the center of gravity and is created during contraction zones.
Applications:
Identifying these phases and understanding the value lines can help traders determine the market's general direction and make better trading decisions.
This isn't a strategy but a concept explaining market behavior, allowing traders to develop various strategies based on these principles
The contractions, which are based on volatility calculations, can help you find out when big moves will occur, known as expansions.
How traders can use this indicator
1. Identifying Market Phases:
Contraction Phase: Look for periods where the market has low volatility and is contracting, indicated by a narrow range and highlighted by the contraction box. During this phase, traders prepare for a breakout but usually avoid making new trades until a clearer trend emerges.
Expansion Phase: When the indicator signals an expansion, it suggests that the market is moving out of consolidation and may be beginning a new trend. Traders might look for entry points here, anticipating a continuation of the trend.
Trend Phase: As the market enters this phase, traders look for signs of sustained movement in one direction and consider positions that benefit from this trend.
2. Multi-Timeframe Analysis:
By looking at multiple timeframes, traders can get a broader view of the market. For instance, a contraction phase in a shorter timeframe within an expansion phase in a longer timeframe might suggest a pullback in an overall uptrend. This indicator comes with a MTF contraction screener that is customizable.
2. Fair Value Lines:
The fair value acts like a "center of gravity.". Traders could use this as a reference point for understanding market sentiment and potential reversal points. This indicator shows these values in the middle of the contraction boxes.
3. Volatility Analysis:
This indicator's volatility settings can help traders understand the market's current volatility state. High volatility indicates a more active market with larger, faster moves, while low volatility might suggest caution and tighter stop-losses or take-profits. If volatility is contracting, then an expansion is imminent. This indicator shows the volatility with percentile ranks in 0-100 values and also alerts you when volatility is contracting, aka the contraction phase.
Volatility Calculations:
This indicator uses a geometric standard deviation to measure volatility based on historical price data. This metric quantifies the variability of price changes over a specified lookback period and then computes a percentile rank within a defined sample period. This percentile calculation helps evaluate the current volatility compared to historical levels.
Based on the percentile rank, the indicator sets thresholds to determine whether the current volatility is within a range considered "contraction" or not. For example, if there are really low levels of volatility on the percentile rank, then there is currently a contraction phase. The indicator also compares the volatility value against a moving average, where values above the current moving average value signal the expansion phase.
Multi-Timeframe Analysis (MTF):
This indicator comes with a multi-timeframe table that shows contractions for 5 different timeframes, and the table is customizable.
Bands:
This indicator comes with bands that are constructed based on the statistical calculations of the standard deviation applied to the log-transformed closing prices. It is commonly assumed that the distribution of prices fits some type of right-skewed distribution. To remove most of the skewness, you can use a log transformation , which makes the distribution more symmetrical and easier to analyze, thus the use of these bands . These bands are in the 2 standard deviation range. You can use these bands to trade at extreme levels. The band parameter is based on the contraction volatility lookback, which is in the Volatility Model Settings tab.
Ways the bands could be used with the contractions:
1. Identifying Breakout trades:
Contraction Zones: These zones indicate periods of low volatility where the market is consolidating. There are usually narrow price ranges, which are considered a build-up phase before a significant price move in any direction.
Bands: When the contraction zone occurs, you might notice the bands tightening around the price on smaller lookback periods, reflecting the decreased volatility. A continuous widening of the bands could then signal the beginning of an expansion phase, indicating a potential breakout opportunity.
2. Enhancing Trade Timing:
Before the Breakout: During the contraction phase, the bands might move closer together, reflecting the lower volatility. You can monitor this phase closely and prepare for a potential expansion. The bands can provide additional confirmation; for instance, a price move toward one of the bands might show an extreme occurrence and might show what the direction of the breakout could be.
After the breakout: Once the price breaks out of the contraction zone and goes to the expansion phase, and if it coincides with the bands widening significantly, it could reinforce the strength and potential sustainability of the new trend, providing a clearer entry.
3. Price-touching bands during a contraction:
If the price repeatedly touches one of the bands during a contraction phase, it might suggest a buildup of pressure in that direction. For example, if the price is consistently touching the upper band even though the bands are narrow, it might suggest bullish pressure that could occur once the expansion phase begin.
4. Price at the band extreme levels during Expansion:
If the price is at the extreme levels of the bands once the expansion phase occurs, it might indicate unsustainable levels and a low probability of the price continuing beyond those levels. Potentially signaling that a reversal will occur. Some trades could use these extremes to place entries during the expansion phases.
Liquidity Levels:
This script comes with liquidity points, whose functionality goes towards identifying pivotal levels in price action, focusing on swing highs and swing lows in the market. These points represent areas where significant buying (for swing lows) or selling (for swing highs) activity has occurred, implying potential levels or resistance in the price movement.
These liquidity points, often identified as highs and lows, are points where market participants have shown interest in the past. These levels can act as psychological indications where traders might place orders, leading to increased trading activity when these levels are approached or breached. When used with the Forex Master Pattern phases, liquidity levels can enhance trades placed with this indicator. For instance, if the market is expanding and approaches a significant liquidity level, there might be a higher chance of a breakout or reversal, showing a possible entry or exit point.
Liquidity Levels in the Contraction Phase:
Accumulation and Distribution: During the contraction phase, liquidity levels can indicate where huge positions are likely accumulating or distributing quietly. If price is near a known liquidity level and in a contraction phase, it might suggest that a large market player is building a position in anticipation of the next move.
Breakout Points: Liquidity levels can also give clues about where price could go after the breakout from the contraction phase. A break above a liquidity level might indicate a strong move to come as the market overcomes significant selling pressure.
Liquidity Levels in Expansion Phase:
Direct Confirmation: As the expansion phase begins, breaking through liquidity levels can confirm the new trend's direction. If the price moves past these levels with huge volume, it might indicate that the market has enough momentum to continue the trend.
Target Areas: Liquidity levels can act as target areas during the expansion phase. Traders using this indicator could look to take profits if the price approaches these levels, possibly expecting a reaction from the market.

Fibonacci Timing Pattern IIThe Fibonacci Timing Pattern II is a price-based counter that seeks to determine medium-term reversals in price action. It is based on the following set of conditions:
* For a bullish Fibonacci timing signal II: The current close must be lower than the close prices from one and two periods ago. Simultaneously, the close price from two periods ago must be lower than the close price from three periods ago, and the close price from three periods ago must be lower than the close price from five periods ago. The Fibonacci sequence continues until the close price from thirty four periods ago which must be above the close price from fifty five periods ago.
* For a bearish Fibonacci timing signal II: The current close must be higher than the close prices from one and two periods ago. Simultaneously, the close price from two periods ago must be higher than the close price from three periods ago, and the close price from three periods ago must be higher than the close price from five periods ago. The Fibonacci sequence continues until the close price from thirty four periods ago which must be lower the close price from fifty five periods ago.
The signals of the pattern are ideally used in a sideways market or used in tandem with the trend (bullish signals are taken in a bullish market and bearish signals are taken in a bearish market).

Introduction
This handbook provides detailed instructions and guidelines for using the Minervini Stage 2 Analysis Indicator based on Mark Minervini's swing trading methodology. This indicator is designed for traders focusing on US stocks, aiming to capture gains in medium to short-term uptrends (swing trading).
Understanding Stage 2
Stage 2 represents a bullish uptrend in a stock's price. Mark Minervini emphasizes entering long positions during this phase. The stage is identified using four key criteria related to moving averages (MAs).
Indicator Criteria
Stock Price Above MA 150 and 200: Indicates an overall uptrend.
MA 150 Above MA 200: Signals a stronger medium-term trend compared to the long-term trend.
MA 200 Trending Up for At Least 1 Month (22 Days): Confirms a stable uptrend.
MA 50 Above Both MA 150 and 200: Shows short-term strength and momentum.
Using the Indicator
Entering Trades: Consider long positions when all four criteria are met. This signifies that the stock is in a Stage 2 uptrend.
Monitoring Trades: Regularly check if the stock continues to meet these criteria. The indicator provides a clear visual and textual representation for ease of monitoring.
Alarm Signals and Exit Strategy
One Criterion Not Met: This serves as an alarm signal. Increased vigilance is required, and traders should prepare for a potential exit.
Two Criteria Not Met: Strong indication to close the trade. This suggests the stock may be transitioning out of Stage 2, increasing the risk of holding the position.
Risk Management
Stop-Loss Orders: Consider setting a trailing stop-loss to protect profits and minimize losses.
Position Sizing: Adjust position sizes according to your risk tolerance and portfolio strategy.
Volume and Relative Strength Analysis
Volume Analysis: Look for increased trading volume as confirmation when the stock price moves above key MAs.
Relative Strength (RS) Rating: Compare the stock's performance to the broader market to gauge its strength.

Introduction
Welcome to a comprehensive guide on a cutting-edge trading strategy I've developed, designed for the modern trader seeking an edge in today's dynamic markets. This strategy, which I've honed through my years of experience in the trading arena, stands out for its unique blend of technical analysis and market intuition, tailored specifically for use on the TradingView platform.
As a trader with a deep passion for the financial markets, my journey began several years ago, driven by a relentless pursuit of a trading methodology that is both effective and adaptable. My background in trading spans various market conditions and asset classes, providing me with a rich tapestry of experiences from which to draw. This strategy is the culmination of that journey, embodying the lessons learned and insights gained along the way.
The cornerstone of this strategy lies in its ability to generate precise long signals in a Stage 2 uptrend and equally accurate short signals in a Stage 4 downtrend. This approach is rooted in the principles of trend following and momentum trading, harnessing the power of key indicators such as the Momentum-RSI, EMA Crossover, and Average True Range (ATR). What sets this strategy apart is its meticulous design, which allows it to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions, providing traders with a robust tool for navigating both bullish and bearish scenarios.
This strategy was born out of a desire to create a trading system that is not only highly effective in identifying potential trade setups but also straightforward enough to be implemented by traders of varying skill levels. It's a reflection of my belief that successful trading hinges on clarity, precision, and disciplined execution. Whether you are a seasoned trader or just beginning your journey, this guide aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to harness the full potential of this strategy in your trading endeavors.
In the following sections, we will delve deeper into the mechanics of the strategy, its implementation, and how to make the most out of its features. Join me as we explore the nuances of a strategy that is designed to elevate your trading to the next level.
Stage-Specific Signal Generation
A distinctive feature of this trading strategy is its focus on generating long signals exclusively during Stage 2 uptrends and short signals during Stage 4 downtrends. This approach is based on the widely recognized market cycle theory, which divides the market into four stages: Stage 1 (accumulation), Stage 2 (uptrend), Stage 3 (distribution), and Stage 4 (downtrend). By aligning the signal generation with these specific stages, the strategy aims to capitalize on the most dynamic and clear-cut market movements, thereby enhancing the potential for profitable trades.
1. Long Signals in Stage 2 Uptrends
• Characteristics of Stage 2: Stage 2 is characterized by a strong uptrend, where prices are consistently rising. This stage typically follows a period of accumulation (Stage 1) and is marked by increased investor interest and bullish sentiment in the market.
• Criteria for Long Signal Generation: Long signals are generated during this stage when the technical indicators align with the characteristics of a Stage 2 uptrend.
• Rationale for Stage-Specific Signals: By focusing on Stage 2 for long trades, the strategy seeks to enter positions during the phase of strong upward momentum, thus riding the wave of rising prices and investor optimism. This stage-specific approach minimizes exposure to less predictable market phases, like the consolidation in Stage 1 or the indecision in Stage 3.
2. Short Signals in Stage 4 Downtrends
• Characteristics of Stage 4: Stage 4 is identified by a pronounced downtrend, with declining prices indicating prevailing bearish sentiment. This stage typically follows the distribution phase (Stage 3) and is characterized by increasing selling pressure.
• Criteria for Short Signal Generation: Short signals are generated in this stage when the indicators reflect a strong bearish trend.
• Rationale for Stage-Specific Signals: Targeting Stage 4 for shorting capitalizes on the market's downward momentum. This tactic aligns with the natural market cycle, allowing traders to exploit the downward price movements effectively. By doing so, the strategy avoids the potential pitfalls of shorting during the early or late stages of the market cycle, where trends are less defined and more susceptible to reversals.
In conclusion, the strategy’s emphasis on stage-specific signal generation is a testament to its sophisticated understanding of market dynamics. By tailoring the long and short signals to Stages 2 and 4, respectively, it leverages the most compelling phases of the market cycle, offering traders a clear and structured approach to aligning their trades with dominant market trends.
Strategy Overview
At the heart of this trading strategy is a philosophy centered around capturing market momentum and trend efficiency. The core objective is to identify and capitalize on clear uptrends and downtrends, thereby allowing traders to position themselves in sync with the market's prevailing direction. This approach is grounded in the belief that aligning trades with these dominant market forces can lead to more consistent and profitable outcomes.
The strategy is built on three foundational components, each playing a critical role in the decision-making process:
1. Momentum-RSI (Relative Strength Index): The Momentum-RSI is a pivotal element of this strategy. It's an enhanced version of the traditional RSI, fine-tuned to better capture the strength and velocity of market trends. By measuring the speed and change of price movements, the Momentum-RSI provides invaluable insights into whether a market is potentially overbought or oversold, suggesting possible entry and exit points. This indicator is especially effective in filtering out noise and focusing on substantial market moves.
2. EMA (Exponential Moving Average) Crossover: The EMA Crossover is a crucial component for trend identification. This strategy employs two EMAs with different timeframes to determine the market trend. When the shorter-term EMA crosses above the longer-term EMA, it signals an emerging uptrend, suggesting a potential long entry. Conversely, a crossover below indicates a possible downtrend, hinting at a short entry opportunity. This simple yet powerful tool is key in confirming trend directions and timing market entries.
3. ATR (Average True Range): The ATR is instrumental in assessing market volatility. This indicator helps in understanding the average range of price movements over a given period, thus providing a sense of how much a market might move on a typical day. In this strategy, the ATR is used to adjust stop-loss levels and to gauge the potential risk and reward of trades. It allows for more informed decisions by aligning trade management techniques with the current volatility conditions.
The synergy of these three components – the Momentum-RSI, EMA Crossover, and ATR – creates a robust framework for this trading strategy. By combining momentum analysis, trend identification, and volatility assessment, the strategy offers a comprehensive approach to navigating the markets. Whether it's capturing a strong trend in its early stages or identifying a potential reversal, this strategy aims to provide traders with the tools and insights needed to make well-informed, strategically sound trading decisions.
Detailed Component Analysis
The efficacy of this trading strategy hinges on the synergistic functioning of its three key components: the Momentum-RSI, EMA Crossover, and Average True Range (ATR). Each component brings a unique perspective to the strategy, contributing to a well-rounded approach to market analysis.
1. Momentum-RSI (Relative Strength Index)
• Definition and Function: The Momentum-RSI is a modified version of the classic Relative Strength Index. While the traditional RSI measures the velocity and magnitude of directional price movements, the Momentum-RSI amplifies aspects that reflect trend strength and momentum.
• Significance in Identifying Trend Strength: This indicator excels in identifying the strength behind a market's move. A high Momentum-RSI value typically indicates strong bullish momentum, suggesting the potential continuation of an uptrend. Conversely, a low Momentum-RSI value signals strong bearish momentum, possibly indicative of an ongoing downtrend.
• Application in Strategy: In this strategy, the Momentum-RSI is used to gauge the underlying strength of market trends. It helps in filtering out minor fluctuations and focusing on significant movements, providing a clearer picture of the market's true momentum.
2. EMA (Exponential Moving Average) Crossover
• Definition and Function: The EMA Crossover component utilizes two exponential moving averages of different timeframes. Unlike simple moving averages, EMAs give more weight to recent prices, making them more responsive to new information.
• Contribution to Market Direction: The interaction between the short-term and long-term EMAs is key to determining market direction. A crossover of the shorter EMA above the longer EMA is an indicator of an emerging uptrend, while a crossover below signals a developing downtrend.
• Application in Strategy: The EMA Crossover serves as a trend confirmation tool. It provides a clear, visual representation of the market's direction, aiding in the decision-making process for entering long or short positions. This component ensures that trades are aligned with the prevailing market trend, a crucial factor for the success of the strategy.
3. ATR (Average True Range)
• Definition and Function: The ATR is an indicator that measures market volatility by calculating the average range between the high and low prices over a specified period.
• Role in Assessing Market Volatility: The ATR provides insights into the typical market movement within a given timeframe, offering a measure of the market's volatility. Higher ATR values indicate increased volatility, while lower values suggest a calmer market environment.
• Application in Strategy: Within this strategy, the ATR is instrumental in tailoring risk management techniques, particularly in setting stop-loss levels. By accounting for the market's volatility, the ATR ensures that stop-loss orders are placed at levels that are neither too tight (risking premature exits) nor too loose (exposing to excessive risk).
In summary, the combination of Momentum-RSI, EMA Crossover, and ATR in this trading strategy provides a comprehensive toolkit for market analysis. The Momentum-RSI identifies the strength of market trends, the EMA Crossover confirms the market direction, and the ATR guides in risk management by assessing volatility. Together, these components form the backbone of a strategy designed to navigate the complexities of the financial markets effectively.
1. Signal Generation Process
• Combining Indicators: The strategy operates by synthesizing signals from the Momentum-RSI, EMA Crossover, and ATR indicators. Each indicator serves a specific purpose: the Momentum-RSI gauges trend momentum, the EMA Crossover identifies the trend direction, and the ATR assesses the market’s volatility.
• Criteria for Signal Validation: For a signal to be considered valid, it must meet specific criteria set by each of the three indicators. This multi-layered approach ensures that signals are not only based on one aspect of market behavior but are a result of a comprehensive analysis.
2. Conditions for Long Positions
• Uptrend Confirmation: A long position signal is generated when the shorter-term EMA crosses above the longer-term EMA, indicating an uptrend.
• Momentum-RSI Alignment: Alongside the EMA crossover, the Momentum-RSI should indicate strong bullish momentum. This is typically represented by the Momentum-RSI being at a high level, confirming the strength of the uptrend.
• ATR Consideration: The ATR is used to fine-tune the entry point and set an appropriate stop-loss level. In a low volatility scenario, as indicated by the ATR, the stop-loss can be set tighter, closer to the entry point.
3. Conditions for Short Positions
• Downtrend Confirmation: Conversely, a short position signal is indicated when the shorter-term EMA crosses below the longer-term EMA, signaling a downtrend.
• Momentum-RSI Confirmation: The Momentum-RSI should reflect strong bearish momentum, usually seen when the Momentum-RSI is at a low level. This confirms the bearish strength of the market.
• ATR Application: The ATR again plays a role in determining the stop-loss level for the short position. Higher volatility, as indicated by a higher ATR, would warrant a wider stop-loss to accommodate larger market swings.
By adhering to these mechanics, the strategy aims to ensure that each trade is entered with a high probability of success, aligning with the market’s current momentum and trend. The integration of these indicators allows for a holistic market analysis, providing traders with clear and actionable signals for both entering and exiting trades.
Customizable Parameters in the Strategy
Flexibility and adaptability are key features of this trading strategy, achieved through a range of customizable parameters. These parameters allow traders to tailor the strategy to their individual trading style, risk tolerance, and specific market conditions. By adjusting these parameters, users can fine-tune the strategy to optimize its performance and align it with their unique trading objectives. Below are the primary parameters that can be customized within the strategy:
1. Momentum-RSI Settings
• Period: The lookback period for the Momentum-RSI can be adjusted. A shorter period makes the indicator more sensitive to recent price changes, while a longer period smoothens the RSI line, offering a broader view of the momentum.
• Overbought/Oversold Thresholds: Users can set their own overbought and oversold levels, which can help in identifying extreme market conditions more precisely according to their trading approach.
2. EMA Crossover Settings
• Timeframes for EMAs: The strategy uses two EMAs with different timeframes. Traders can modify these timeframes, choosing shorter periods for a more responsive approach or longer periods for a more conservative one.
• Source Data: The choice of price data (close, open, high, low) used in calculating the EMAs can be varied depending on the trader’s preference.
3. ATR Settings
• Lookback Period: Adjusting the lookback period for the ATR impacts how the indicator measures volatility. A longer period may provide a more stable but less responsive measure, while a shorter period offers quicker but potentially more erratic readings.
• Multiplier for Stop-Loss Calculation: This parameter allows traders to set how aggressively or conservatively they want their stop-loss to be in relation to the ATR value.
Here are the standard settings:

Time Matrix TableICT stresses time and liquidity levels in his teachings. This table helps to easily locate these key Time-based price levels. You can use these levels to determine your directional bias and to help generate your narrative for where the market is going.
This indicator creates a table that gives you the price for the following liquidity levels:
PDO - Previous Day Open
PDH - Previous Day High
PDL - Previous Day Low
PDC - Previous Day Close
PDEQ - Equilibrium of the previous day's range. (Calculated by math.abs(((pdh-pdl)/2)+pdl))
PWH - Previous Week High
PWL - Previous Week Low
PDH2 - Two Days Back High
PDL2 - Two Days Back Low
PDH3 - Three Days Back High
PDL3 - Three Days Back Low
And gives you the opening price for the following times:
Daily Open - 6:00pm open for current session
1:30 AM
3:00 AM
4:00 AM
Midnight Open
6:00 AM
7:30 AM
8:30 AM
NY Open
10:00 AM
12:00 PM
NY PM - 1:30pm
2:00 PM
The levels are sorted descending in price in the table, with the background colored based on their relation to price. The prices are also plotted on the chart based on the range you specify in relation to the current price. These lines are also colored based on their relation to price.
This indicator does not give you anything but the price at a specific time, you must determine your own bias and narrative based on the levels that are given.
NITS - NIFTY INTRADAY TRADING SYSTEMNSE:NIFTY
Hello Traders..!
This is another indicator / system to make use for NIFTY & BANK NIFTY Intra day trading.
This is my Gift to the traders for this New Year 2024. Use this to your Edge and make some profits. All explained below.
NIFTY INTRA-DAY TRADING SYSTEM
Explanation of Arrays:
-------------------------------
## FIRST 15 MIN SESSION BOX ##
From 09:15 to 09:30 where the initial orders will get collected and Auction takes place.
DO NOT engage into any trade in this session. Let the Box develop.
## INITIAL HIGH / LOW FORMATION SESSION ##
This session is from 09:15 to 10:30.
We can observe the Initial High or Low being formed for the day, that is VALID TILL 11:30.
## NO-TRADE ZONE / ACC. AREA / DAY’S H OR L CONFIRMATION SESSION ##
From 11:30 to 12:30
90% of time this is the session where the whole Day’s High or Low will get confirmed. Sometimes the market may violate this Session!
DO NOT engage into any fresh trade in this area.
Once the box is developed, you can see the Mid price line will be formed which is valid for the afternoon Trading session till 15:30.
## SIGNAL LINE, MIDDLE PRICE LINE, SESSION HIGH LOW LINES ##
Middle Price Line – the dotted line (Red colour) is Mid Price Line for the Initial session box. This acts as an important price level for the whole day.
Signal Line – the Solid line that will form after 10:30. Consider this price line as very important price line to which the price reacts with a good momentum, either break through or rejection and valid for the whole trading day.
Session High Low price line – high and low prices of the Initial session box which acts as a good Support / Resistance / Target / Stop loss. Even previous session’s price lines can also be used for the current day too.
## TREND BOX ##
Multi-Time frame trend box will show the real-time trend on different time frames. This box will be very helpful in trade decision. Please note that at least THREE HIGHER TIME FRAME TRENDS must be in the same direction to support your trade criteria for the better confirmation.
## VOLUME IMBALANCE ##
These orange coloured boxes are very tiny imbalances between prices that were formed during price movements. Algorithm will try to fill these imbalances on its way of filling orders. These price imbalances can be used for our edge while taking trades.
SOME TIPS:
---------------------------
1) Avoid Break out trades
2) Always trade the pull backs
3) Keep your Stops above / below the KEY LEVELS
4) Always follow the Higher Time frame trend while taking a trade.
If you trade in 1m TF consider 5m trend
If you trade in 5m TF consider 1H or 15m trend
5) Consider the higher TF closure of prices only, to validate the break out.
6) Trade what you see, market can do anything it wants.
7) Do not worry about losses. It happens and that is the business.
8) End your trading week in green no matter how big or small the profit is. Consistency is the key this business.
9) Keep in mind that the Market does two things only, either it will FILL THE GAP or GRAB THE LIQUIDITY. Just plan your trades accordingly. Liquidity levels like Previous Session / Day / Week / highs and lows.
10) The Market is a continuous business. It does not end for the specific day. It will not end its Buy or Sell model unless it completes its cycle, hence TRADE WHAT YOU SEE and not WHAT YOU THINK!
11) Unless the key swing high / low is broken and closed, DO NOT consider that move as a reversal. Consider that as a Liquidity grab. And it will continue in its previous trend.
HOW TO TAKE TRADE USING NITS: (one of the Techniques)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As explained above, Do not engage in trade for the first 15 minutes.
Once the 15m box forms then look for divergence between NIFTY and BANK NIFTY.
Both Indices are supposed to trade in the same direction but at key levels and times, these instruments will make DIVERGENCE with its Highs and Lows.
Ex: one Index will make LOW AND LOWER LOW and at the same time other will make LOW AND HIGHER LOW. This deflection can be used for taking Buy Trades.
Ex:
If the Divergence forms at the Bottom then the market will move upwards.
If the Divergence forms at the Top then the market makes down move.
To confirm this divergence, the price will move away from that deflected Lows or Highs.
-----------------------------------
POINTS TO OBSERVE
------------------------------------
Mostly the first 15 min range that forms will either be very large candles or normal candles with rejection wicks or Shaved bar (open and H/L same)
Whenever you observe a very large wide range bars within the 15min range, consider the Day’s high and Low is already formed. And the market will be hovering inside that range only. Very useful for taking 50 points scalping here and there by using the signal line and middle line or Acc box mid line. In this scenario you have three important info of the day, OPEN HIGH & LOW established already, The market will only look for its close.
Ex:
If the market trades with normal candles, then consider your trades in two parts.
From 09:30 to 11:30 and from 12:30 to 15:30 as 11:30 to 12:30 will confirm the current day’s High / Low hence do not take a fresh position within that time.
1) Initial session trade – If the price does not break and close the 15 min range high/low, consider it is going to reverse and continue its trend till 10:30
Ex:
2) Mid session Trade – mostly the market accumulates positions and collects orders between 11:30 to 12:30 for the afternoon session. Once the session box is developed, the middle price line will form. Wait for the market breakout and close off this session’s high or low in Higher TF. The market will continue in the direction of breakout from this session and continue till 15:30. Hence wait for pull back till its mid price / high or low price lines of this Acc box and take trade in the initial breakout direction keeping stop above or below the session’s high or low.

Note:
-----------------
Kindly do not ask for any codes or script details. The one technique what I explained (Divergence method) is more than enough for making a consistent earnings. Please study and back test / forward test for yourself for atleast 2 weeks time. Every traders aspect and mindset is different in seeing the market movements. Please design your own methodology and CONSIDER this as a BUSINESS..!
JUST.....
Believe the System
Be patient
Be Disciplined &
Be a Successful Earner..!!
LET YOUR ENDS MEET
(Hope I explained well)
ZenTrend Price CyclesZenTrend attempts to plot the cycles that occur as the price cycles between the top and bottom of long- and short-term price linear regression channels.
The indicator observes a fast (35-period) and a slow (100-period) linear regression channel and plots their slopes on an oscillator. When the slope of the fast channel crosses above or below the slope of the slow channel, a signal is plotted.
The red line is the slope of the fast channel; blue is the slope of the slow channel
A green dot and background indicates the slope of recent price action has crossed above the slope of long-term price action.
A red dot and background indicates the slope of recent price action has crossed below the slope of long-term price action.
A gray dot indicates the slope of recent price action is slowing. The difference between the long- and short-term slopes is narrowing.
Here are things I look for when observing price cycles
Where does the cross occur? Crosses high above or below the 'zero line' indicate a more extreme change in price channel slopes.
Flat line: crosses that occur while the lines are flat often indicate chop.
"Curve" of the line - a cross that occurs as the slope lines are starting to curve up/down indicates a sharper and more extreme change in price channel slope.
Smallest Swing [Truth Indie]This indicator is designed to test the smallest swing draw using the swing capture concept of the Pivot Points High Low indicator, setting the length to 1 for all periods, and combining it with price action that I think makes sense.
Example of a valid swing high.
Example of a valid swing low.

using this Swing High/Low Indicator
Trading Strategy comes from Mastering the Trade, by John Carter pg 300.
Trading Rules for Sells, Buys are reversed
1. Identifying a trending market, where today's price is making a 20-day high (17-18 day highs are also fine)
Note this is configurable by setting the trending period variable (defaults to 20)
For example if price is making a 20 period high or 20 period low, it will show a triangle up/down above the candle.
2. Identify the high bar in the uptrend
3. Go short once the price action closes below the low of this high bar
4. The initial stop is the high of the high bar.
5. If you are in the trade on the third day or period, use a 2 bar trailing stop.
You can check 2-bar trailing stop to draw the line, defaults to off.
Stop is indicated by the white dot.

EMA Hafeezullah ReversalTitle: Enhanced EMA Breakout Strategy for Buy and Sell Signals
Description:
This script is an enhanced version of the traditional EMA (Exponential Moving Average) Breakout strategy, designed to provide clear buy and sell signals on price charts. The strategy revolves around a 5-period EMA, which helps traders identify potential breakout points in the market.
How It Works:
EMA Calculation: The script calculates a 5-period EMA, which smooths out price movements to identify the underlying trend.
Buy Signal Logic: A buy signal is generated when the previous candle closes below the EMA, and the current high is greater than the previous high. This indicates potential bullish momentum as the price breaks above the EMA.
Sell Signal Logic: A sell signal is triggered when the previous candle closes above the EMA, and the current close is lower than the previous low. This suggests bearish momentum as the price breaks below the EMA.
Cooldown Period: To avoid frequent signals and potential false breakouts, the script imposes a cooldown period. A new signal can only be generated if a certain number of bars (defined by cooldownBars) have passed since the last signal.
Signal Visualization: Buy signals are marked with green upward triangles below the bars, and sell signals with red downward triangles above the bars.
EMA Visualization: The 5-period EMA is plotted for reference, providing a visual representation of the current trend and potential breakout points.
Usage:
Ideal for intraday and short-term trading.
Can be applied to various asset classes including stocks, forex, and cryptocurrencies.
Best used in conjunction with other technical analysis tools for confirmation and to determine exit points.
Pine Script Version: The script is written in Pine Script version 5.
Originality and Usefulness:
This script stands out due to its simplicity and effectiveness in identifying breakout points. The addition of a cooldown period helps filter out noise and increases the reliability of the signals. It's a valuable tool for traders focusing on momentum and breakout strategies.
[Opening Range Breakout] S&R Strategy with Backtest (TSO) S&R Strategy with Backtest (TSO)
===========================================================================
===========================================================================
This indicator serves as a comprehensive full-cycle trading system, providing alerts at each stage of the trade, from opening to closure. The algorithm initiates by calculating the Opening/Pre-Market Price Range, waiting for a breakout to generate signals, and establishing TP (Take Profit and SL (Stop Loss) levels. The Opening/Pre-Market range, known for its robust support and resistance levels, is a key element. To filter out false breakouts and capture valid ones, the indicator incorporates a Smart Breakout feature, requiring confirmation through an initial breakout, a confirmation bounce, and a subsequent confirmation breakout. The indicator offers a variety of automated approaches for TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss) settings. These include leveraging opening range levels, both the most recent and historical S&R (Support and Resistance) levels, and an ATR (Average True Range) trailing stop-loss. This diverse set of tools ensure flexibility in tailoring TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss) parameters to different market conditions, contributing to a more adaptive and robust trading system. Additionally, a series of signal analysis tools, including candle bar analysis, divergence, and volume, enhance the precision of trading signals.
* Works with popular timeframes: 1M, 3M, 5M, 15M, 30M, 45M, 1H.
* Works best with Indices, Stocks, and Commodities, since there is pre-market price movement, which is used to obtain support and resistance price range.
* Every action of the trade is calculated on a confirmed closed candle bar state (barstate.isconfirmed), so the indicator will never repaint.

Example of automated ATR Trail Stop-Loss activation at no optimal S&R (support) feature.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strategy Config: ORB_NFLX(NASDAQ)_3M
Example of a skipped LONG trade due to no optimal S&R (support) for Stop-Loss (can be seen per chart that it would be a loss trade). On another side, a SHORT SMA Confirmed trade hits all 3 profit targets.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strategy Config: ORB_NVDA(NASDAQ)_15M
Example of no optimal support for SHORT Take-Profit targets, with ATR Trail Stop-Loss.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strategy Config: ORB_SPY(AMEX)_15M
Example of several signal confirmations at the same time (SMA, VWAP, EWO) and S&R-TP-Entry-SL SL (Stop-Loss) system, which at trade open sets SL (Stop-Loss) per optimal S&R (since this is a LONG trade - support) and then moves to Entry at first take-profit.

* Use TradingView “Strategy Tester” to see Backtesting results
NOTE: If Strategy Tester does not show any results with Date Ranged fully unchecked, there may be an issue where a script opens a trade, but there is not enough TradingView power to set the Take-Profit and Stop-Loss and somehow an open trade gets stuck and never closes, so there are “no trades present”. In such case - manually check “Start”/“End” dates or use “Deep Backtesting” feature!

TAKE-PROFIT/STOP-LOSS CONFIGURATION ///////////////////////////////////////
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
>>> TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss): S&R Search - Left Bars: This setting is for calculating optimal S&R (Support and Resistance) levels (in combination with below - Right Bars) for S&R (Support and Resistance) TP (Take-Profit) levels calculations. NOTE: if at any point - there will be no available S&R (Support & Resistance) found for SL (Stop-Loss, 'S&R-Dynamic-SL' or 'S&R-Static-SL' setting, since both settings search for optimal SL (Stop-Loss) at trade open) or TP (Take-Profit, at any setting, since at trade open, an optimal TP (Take-Profit) level is searched) > SL (Stop-Loss) will automatically switch to trailing ATR-Trailing-SL and the trade will continue to run until it either hits ATR-Trailing-SL (Stop-Loss) or closes at EOD (End of Day).
>>> TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss): S&R Search - Right Bars: This setting is for calculating optimal S&R (Support and Resistance) levels (in combination with above - Left Bars) for S&R (Support and Resistance) TP (Take-Profit) levels calculations.
>>> TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss): S&R Search - Custom Resolution: This is a custom timeframe setting specifically for S&R Search, it disregards current chart timeframe. This is great to use for scalping, for example: with main chart set to 1min and the custom timeframe set to 3min or 5min - there will be stronger support/resistance levels with more detailed price action.
>>> TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss): # of Bars (5000 max) to search back for optimal Support and Resistance levels: This is how many candles will be searched backwards for previous S&Rs (Support and Resistance) to find the optimal levels for TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss). NOTE: If SL (Stop-Loss) System is set to 'ATR-Trailing-SL' - this setting is only relevant for searching TP (Take-Profit) levels.
>>> TP (Take-Profit) and SL (Stop-Loss): At Trade Open - No S&R (Support and Resistance) found behavior: 'Skip Trade': If at trade open there are no S&R (Support and Resistance) levels for TP1 (Take-Profit 1) or SL (Stop-Loss) - trade is skipped. 'Open/ATR-Trailing-SL': If at trade open there are no S&R (Support and Resistance) levels for TP1 (Take-Profit 1) or SL (Stop-Loss), the trade will still be open with SL (Stop-Loss) set to 'ATR-Trailing-SL'.
>>> TP (Take-Profit) System: Pre-Market-Range-TP: All TP (Take-Profit) targets are calculated at trade open using the distance between Support and Resistance per Opening Pre-market Range and then divided by TP (Take-Profit) Divider, which can be set below; S&R-Current-Optimal-TP1: TP1 (Take-Profit) level is set per currently available S&R (Support & Resistance), if none available - historical S&R (Support & Resistance) levels will be searched, remaining TP (Take-Profit) targets (if selected, up to 5 # of TPs) are searched through most recent closest historical S&R (Support & Resistance) levels; S&R-Historic-Optimal-TP1: TP1 (Take-Profit) level is set per historically most recent closest available S&R (Support & Resistance) to the Entry price, remaining TP (Take-Profit) targets (if selected, up to 5 # of TPs) are searched through historical S&R (Support & Resistance) levels as well.
>>> TP (Take-Profit, Pre-Market-Range-TP) Divider #: This is for 'Pre-Market-Range-TP' setting only, where TP (Take-Profit) level is the distance between top/bottom levels of the opening range. It can be reduced by the divider #. (1 - full distance; 2 - 1/2 distance; 3 - 1/3 distance; etc.
>>> TP (Take-Profit) # of targets: It is wise to divide the trade into several profit targets. With this setting - up to 5 TP (Take-Profit) targets can be approached. The trade will be equally divided up by the selected # of TP (Take-Profit) targets.
>>> TP (Take-Profit) target(s) Consumed: Signal Bar consuming Take-Profits - trade signal bar is big enough to 'consume'/close ahead of the first TP setting > the signal can either be skipped, or all Take-Profit targets pushed ahead by average bar size).
>>> TP (Take-Profit) Offset - On/Off: This is a feature where TP (Take-Profit) target will be considered taken even if the price never crosses the target(s), but comes close enough (based on the offset amount). Set the offset amount below.
>>>>> TP (Take-Profit) Offset - Amount: Some Examples: (for SPY 0.1 would be $0.10 offset - if TP1 is $400 and price hits $399.90 > TP1 considered taken/signal shown/alert) | NOTE: For EURUSD, it is very different and if wrong will show TP1 immediately at trade open, typical good offset for EURUSD is: 0.0005 | Similar for BTCUSD, for example: 10 - $10 offset, if TP is $15,000 > $14,990.
>>> SL (Stop-Loss) System: 'Pre-Market-Range-SL': SL (Stop-Loss) is set to the opposite market range level from trade direction; 'S&R-Static-SL': SL (Stop-Loss) is set at trade open per optimal most recent S&R level and remains there until trade closes; 'S&R-Dynamic-SL': SL (Stop-Loss) is set at a trade open per optimal S&R (Support and Resistance) level from the most recent AND historical S&Rs (Support and Resistance), with every bar closed it will check if there are new S&Rs (Support and Resistance) levels, if these levels appear closer to the current price then current level - it will move SL (Stop-Loss) to that level, therefore reducing the risk; 'ATR-Trailing-SL': SL (Stop-Loss) is trail-following the ATR (Average True Range) line, NOTE: If at signal trigger, ATR will be against the trade direction - trade open signal will be skipped; 'S&R-TP-Entry-SL': SL (Stop-Loss) initially is set per S&R, then moves to Entry price at the very first TP (Take-Profit) hit and remains there until trade closes; 'S&R-TP-Trail-SL': SL (Stop-Loss) initially is set per S&R, then moves to Entry at TP1 (Take-Profit 1) hit, then keeps trailing per previously taken profit targets (TP2 taken, SL moves to TP1 | TP3 taken, SL moves to TP2 | TP4 taken, SL moves to TP3). NOTE: 'ATR-Trailing-SL' will not switch automatically if 'S&R-Dynamic-SL', S&R-TP-Entry-SL', 'S&R-TP-Trail-SL' system is selected, as already the most optimal SL (Stop-Loss) level is calculated - it will switch automatically only with 'S&R-Static-SL' system.
>>> SL (Stop-Loss) - On/Off: Without SL (Stop-Loss), unless EOD (End of Day) Close is turned on - there will be no SL (Stop-Loss) at all!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

TP System: Dynamic
"TP PERCENTAGE" - will always be the same amount (trade/position size divided by the # of take-profit(TP) targets) and percentage to be closed will always be of the ORIGINAL trade/position.

TP System: Static
"TP PERCENTAGE" - will always be the same amount IF take-profit(TP) targets are hit 1-by-1 (TP1 > TP2 > TP3 > TP4 > TP5), otherwise it will vary and unless it is a 1st take-profit(TP1), the REMAINING trade/position size will always be smaller than original and therefore the percentage to be closed will always be of the REMAINING trade/position and NOT the original one!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"TP PERCENTAGE" CheatSheet (these are the only percentages you may see)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TP PERCENTAGE---Close/Sell Amount-------------Example (trade size: 50 stocks)
20%-------------trade size * 0.2--------------50 * 0.2 = 10 stocks
25%-------------trade size * 0.25-------------50 * 0.25 = 12.5(~13) stocks
34%-------------trade size * 0.34-------------50 * 0.34 = 17 stocks
40%-------------trade size * 0.4--------------50 * 0.4 = 20 stocks
50%-------------trade size * 0.5--------------50 * 0.5 = 25 stocks
60%-------------trade size * 0.6--------------50 * 0.6 = 30 stocks
66%-------------trade size * 0.66-------------50 * 0.66 = 33 stocks
75%-------------trade size * 0.75-------------50 * 0.75 = 37.5(~38) stocks
80%-------------trade size * 0.8--------------50 * 0.8 = 40 stocks
100%------------trade size--------------------50 = 50 stocks
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If for any reason a portion of the current/remaining trade closed at such occurrence was slightly wrong, it is not an issue. Such occurrences are rare and with slight difference in partial TP closed is not significant to overall performance of our algorithms.

-Condition: Select this indicator by it’s name
-Immediately below, change it to "alert() function calls only", as other wise there will be 2 alerts for every alert!
-Expiration: Open-ended (that may require higher tier TradingView account, otherwise the alert will need to be occasionally re-triggered)
-Alert name: Whatever you desire
-Hit “Create”
-Note: If you change ANY Settings within the indicator – you must DELETE the current alert and create a new one per steps above, otherwise it will continue triggering alerts per old Settings!

If you have any questions or issues with the indicator, please message me directly via TradingView.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good Luck! (NOTE: Trading is very risky, past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results, so please trade responsibly!)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: There seems to be a strange glitch when strategy is running live, it will show "double-take" take-profits labels on the chart. This is not affecting the script logic and backtesting results, if you simply change the timeframe real quick to something else then back - it will no longer show the duplicate orders... this must be some sort of a glitch as every alert was thoroughly tested to make sure everything is working!
Trailing Stop-Loss Indicator (FinnoVent)The Dynamic 9 EMA Trailing Stop-Loss Indicator is a specialized tool designed for the TradingView community to enhance risk management in trading. This script dynamically adjusts a trailing stop-loss level based on the position of the price relative to a 9-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA), offering traders a systematic approach to protect potential profits and limit downside risk.
Functionality:
Adaptive Trailing Stop: The indicator calculates a trailing stop-loss that adjusts with the 9 EMA, providing a responsive method to secure gains or prevent extensive losses.
EMA Trend Indicator: The 9-period EMA serves as a momentum indicator, with the script adjusting the trailing stop-loss accordingly — above the EMA for short positions and below for long positions.
Entry Signal Visualization: Entry signals are visualized on the chart, indicating potential long and short positions based on price crossovers with the EMA.
Application:
This indicator is ideal for traders who utilize technical analysis to make informed decisions. By automatically adjusting the stop-loss level to the evolving market conditions, it is particularly useful for:
Day traders looking to capitalize on short-term price movements.
Swing traders aiming to secure positions during more extended market waves.
Any trading strategy that benefits from dynamic stop-loss management.
Usage:
To use the indicator, simply add it to your TradingView chart, and it will automatically plot the trailing stop levels. The green and red lines represent the trailing stops for long and short positions, respectively, providing clear visual cues for potential exit points.
Compliance with TradingView House Rules:
This script is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute investment advice. It is a unique creation that has been developed to contribute to the TradingView community by offering a tool that helps traders manage their trades more effectively.

FalconRed 3 Candlestick LevelsThis Pine Script indicator is designed to enhance price action analysis by identifying specific candle patterns that signal potential buying and selling levels. The analysis is based on the characteristics of the current candle and its two immediate predecessors.
For identifying buying levels, the script examines the wicks of the candles, highlighting areas where buying and selling struggle is evident. The indicator recognizes significant breaks above wick levels, especially when followed by a subsequent candle with a lower wick. This combination suggests that previous selling pressure has been challenged and overcome.
Buy breakout and retest levels are highlighted with green color, providing a clear visual indication of potential buying opportunities. The indicator draws horizontal lines that extend to the right, offering insights into the frequency of retests and the recurrence of similar patterns in specific price zones, thereby confirming and reinforcing the observed price action.
Similarly, the indicator scrutinizes the selling side, pinpointing breakdown and retest levels. These areas are highlighted with red color, aiding in the identification of potential selling opportunities.
This indicator serves as a valuable tool for analyzing price action levels and visualizing buying and selling areas. It can be effectively combined with other technical indicators to enhance confidence in trading decisions. Gain deeper insights into market dynamics and improve decision-making by integrating this candle pattern analysis indicator into your trading strategy.
TheSandyBananaTheSandyBanana is a comprehensive trading indicator designed for various asset classes. It combines multiple technical analysis tools to provide buy and sell signals, aiding traders in making informed decisions. This script is suitable for traders who prefer a combination of trend-following and momentum strategies.
Features:
RSI-Based Signals: Utilizes a modified Relative Strength Index (RSI) with an extended period of 200 bars for smoothing, providing a less reactive but more stable momentum indicator.
RSI EMA: Applies an Exponential Moving Average (EMA) with a 100-bar period to the RSI, further smoothing the RSI and aiding in the identification of longer-term momentum trends.
ATR for Volatility Analysis: Employs the Average True Range (ATR) over a 100-bar period, adjusted with a multiplier of 1. This is used to gauge market volatility and filter signals based on market dynamics.
Peak and Trough Detection: Detects peaks and troughs in the RSI EMA using refined logic and a lookback period of 33 bars, helping in pinpointing potential reversal points.
Dynamic Buy and Sell Signals: Generates buy signals when a trough is identified, and the RSI is below 50, indicating potential upward momentum. Sell signals are generated at peaks when the RSI is above 50, suggesting possible downward momentum.
333-Period EMA: Features a long-term 3333-period EMA, plotted on the chart for trend analysis and potential dynamic support or resistance levels.
Alert Conditions: Includes conditions for buy and sell alerts, making it easier for traders to be notified of potential trading opportunities.
Usage:
This indicator is best suited for traders looking for a blend of trend and momentum analysis. The extended periods used in RSI and EMA calculations make this indicator more suitable for medium to long-term trading strategies. Traders should consider combining this indicator with other forms of analysis (like fundamental analysis or additional technical indicators) for comprehensive trading strategies.

Vertical and Horizontal Lines on given DatesThis simple indicator is to show the impact of given dates on the chart:
The dates need to be entered in a yyyy-MM-dd format, separated by comma (,) or space+comma ( ,).
The event can be shown on the chart with a vertical highlighting.
The midpoint of the price action that day can be shown as a vertical line.
Hint: If you load a lot of dates into it, best disable the "Indicator Arguments" in "Chart Settings" -> "Status line" to not have the chart littered with these date arguments.
Measured MoveThis indicator was made for those who look to profit on “Measured Moves.”
Upon opening the settings one will need to set the time to begin (Start Time in settings) the colored background of the potential move areas, and the high (First Price Level in settings) and low (Second Price Level in settings) prices for the measured area for the measured move.
After those are selected they can be easily moved on the chart. I created a table for the user to tap with the pointer to highlight the setting lines for easy adjustment.
Measured moves are used by some algo’s and some traders to determine the take profit levels. They are moves from a particular pattern conclusion to a distance equal to that distance in the desired direction.
This is an image of the measured move which occurred on Dec 13th, 2023 at about 1pm on the ES 1m chart:
The center area in lightly shaded blue is the measured area. The green and red would be the same distance and would equate to the measured move distance.
This example shows the same day – the second move up was a measured move by some traders:
www.tradingview.com
Again, the same day on the way down. This one didn’t quite complete the move:
Again, same day on the way back up – almost perfect:
And, finally, the same day for the last move up:
This indicator will require the user to know what to look for in creating the measured movement. The script is quite simple – but, can be effective in assisting a user to know potential profit targets.
I conducted several searches for “measured move” and found no other indicators that provide this functionality. I understand that one could use fibs to do the same thing – but, I didn’t want to have to alter the fib settings (which I use for actual fibs) to perform this functionality.
