I coded this indicator to adapt a few techniques I learned from Constance Brown to CCI, which is a very good momentum indicator which gives great signals if you know how to read them.
I plotted a few examples on the chart.
As you can see, it complements a trader's bar chart reading skills nicely if applied correctly.
Hope you can find it of use.

This is live and non-repainting Point and Figure Chart Commodity Channel Index - CCI tool. The script has it’s own P&F engine and not using integrated function of Trading View.

mod of lazy bear's OBV coded CCI, which indicates CCI state by changing the color of the OBV. now it shows you when CCI is overbought or oversold, not just one or the other
when CCI > 100, that's an oversold signal and OBV line turns green
when CCO -0.54% < -100, that's an undersold signal and OBV line turns red
CCI threshold can be changed (ex. 200 and...
Works good on 5 or 15min set to the 2hr or 4hr time frame.
Set an alarm (Set an alert on each Long/Short "crossing down", 0.8 (or anything below 0.99), "on condition" )
Or just as a visual.
Best to use other factors to confirm but most of the time it does a pretty decent job.
Modification of the CCI indicator WT3.

2) you can calculate the indicator by closing price and you can calculate the volume price. The key is the "key" includes the calculations according to the bulk price.
3) "kluchperegib" shows inflection points
4) For the line with the period...
This is my thank you to the TradingView community, for the people who are sharing their scripts, which allowed me to learn Pine Script.
So here is my first creation, feel free to experiment, modify and use it as you wish.
It is a CCI(default value is 100, can be changed), combined with an EMA of that CCI(default 21,changeable) that then colors the background...
