The DecisionPoint Price Momentum Oscillator (PMO) is an oscillator based on a Rate of Change calculation that is smoothed twice with custom exponential moving averages. Because the PMO is normalized, it can also be used as a relative strength tool.
PMO can be used in many ways:
- PMO can be used to determine the OB/OS state. While the +2.5 to -2.5 is the usual...
HawkEye volume, developed by Nigel Hawks, is supposed to be a premier VSA indicator. Documentation on this is scarce (looks like the training seminars/sessions conducted by the parent company cover this in detail), if you come across any (other than what I have mentioned on that chart) do let me know.
I am not sure how much this resembles the commercial...
Better Volume Indicator
This is a direct port of a famous indicator from Tradestation platform.
BVI improves on your typical volume histogram by coloring the bars based on 5 criteria:
* Volume Climax Up – high volume, high range, up bars (red)
* Volume Climax Down – high volume, high range, down bars (white)
A simple but effective Forex strategy requested by user @pipcollector.
Suggested chart timeframe is 5mins.
Indicator marks potential long/short entries based on the following conditions:
Price above pip median ema on daily, 4 hour and 1 hour timeframe. These 3 timeframes and median EMA lengths are configurable.
Background color is set to...

Added support for filtered ranges:
RID V3 : pastebin.com
RIDv3 has full backward compatibility (!?), meaning all my descriptions below still apply for V3.
-- In addition, I have added a NON-OVERLAY mode, which can be put in its own pane, that shows the number of bars in the current range.
-- in Overlay mode, you can...
This a modified MAC-Z using Z-VWAP. Since this uses VWAP, the signals are derived indirectly from both volume and price action.
I have also included a way to smooth MACZ-VWAP, you can enable it via options page.
Note that this will not work on any FX pair, as volume is not available.
Z-distance from VWAP:...

The High-Low Index is a breadth indicator based on Record High Percent, which is based on new 52-week highs and new 52-week lows.
Readings below 50 indicate that there were more new lows than new highs. Readings above 50 indicate that...
RSX is a "noise free" version of RSI, with no added lag. This is a port of a clone to Pine.
Use this indicator just like RSI. I have set the default length to 14, feel free to experiment. You can reduce length with out worrying about jaggedness.
Options page has all the configurable parameters. You can use the plot names to setup alerts.
I have couple of...
Another one from Ehlers.
Ehlers likes the idea behind StochRSI so much, he dedicated a full chapter in his book (linked below) on how stoch works with his "superlative" (his words, not mine) indicators. This is stoch of his CG oscillator.
Standard stochastic oscillator uses fixed period for calculations and does not adjust to the constantly changing market...
Another one to add to Ehlers collection.
The MESA Adaptive Moving Average (MAMA) adapts to price movement based on the rate of change of phase as measured by the Hilbert Transform Discriminator. This method features a fast attack average and a slow decay average so that composite average rapidly ratchets behind price changes and holds the average value until the...
The CCT Bollinger Band Oscillator (CCTBO), developed by Steve Karnish of Cedar Creek Trading, reconfigures John Bollinger's classic Bollinger Bands (envelopes plotted at two Standard Deviations above and below a moving average) by drawing two parallel lines replacing the envelopes. The parallel lines represent a measurement of two Standard Deviations from the mean...

I noticed I have switched the plot names. Histo shd be the MACD and DMACD shd be the Signal.
Replace lines 16 & 17 with these to get the correct names. NOTE that no functionality is affected, just the names.

This oscillator is derived from Absolute Strength Index, originally developed by Tudor Marcelin (Art Invest).
I made it an oscillator mainly to make it easy to identify the divergences and price-flows. There is not much documentation available online for Absolute Strength Index afaik, lets hope Mr.Tudor comes across this and provides us a detailed writeup...
Time and Money Chart Channel
TAM channels, introduced by Stuart Belknap, is part of his TAM charts setup.
These bands use SMA as the basis. 3 lines above and below paralleling the centerline (basis) represent one, two and three sigmas of the actual data points from the mean centerline.
This calculates normal distance of price from VWAP. This is a mean reverting idea (something like ZScore), but using both "volume" and "close".
Useful for finding OB/OS areas and potential turning points.
Complete list of my indicators:
This is a remake of the famous LazyBear Indicator, the Squeeze Momentum Indicator.
All i did was take out the SMA's and replace them with HMA's. HMA is a more responsive moving average.
Hull Moving Average.
This is a derivative of John Carter's "TTM Squeeze" volatility indicator, as discussed in his book "Mastering the Trade" (chapter 11).
Black crosses on the...
Market Direction Indicator (MDI), by Donald Lambert, is an extension of simple moving average cross over systems. Series of price cross over points are determined to derive MDI.
Note that the short/long lengths will differ between instruments. They need to be tuned properly.
I have added an option to specify a "cutoff" parameter. When MDI is in the cutoff zone...
This indicator is a composite of MACD and Z-Score (requested by @ChartAt). The general idea is that counter-trend component of the Z-score is used to adjust/improve the trend component of the MACD. The advantage is that it is a more accurate and “assumption-free” and can more accurately describe how a market or stock actually works in a given time frame.
